  • Ah this makes me happy :D I love these two

  • Nice cap there buddy.

  • I like the little "oh wait, you're now screwed" beep at the end.

  • Theres an episode where he says bollocks and was not edited out, dont know which one..

  • Ok that is really akward

  • Silly men. If he put his work crap in his room because he missed her when she was gone, why not keep something of hers closer during her absences, instead?

    And we're the crazy ones? : P

  • HOLY SHEET....I never realised O'Brian had an Irish accent....<3

  • @tailsfan13 ..........yeah. He's Irish. I take it you haven't seen him in Star Trek before.

  • @kamwrites Not really....I've only seen in him in Next Gen.....but I watched DS9...It;s really obvious there...XDD

  • @tailsfan13 Ah. Yes, it's much more obvious in DS9. ;) Seems I read somewhere that he's the only Star Trek cast member who portrays his true nationality (as compared to Scotty, for instance.)

  • Women are crazy,i'm surprised gay people only make up 10% of the population.

  • @DarthKreeg evidence that being gay isn't a choice ? XD

  • SO funny !!!

  • funny moment... but TNG vastly outranks this show in "funny moments"...

  • Miles obviously doesn't wish to convey that he wishes Keiko was more like Julian, as he seemingly gets along with his best friend more than he does his wife.

  • Why can't a woman...

    Be more like a man?

  • Good to see ball-busting exists in the 24th century!

  • haha don't pick on him I know what he means.. he means more like a man in the sense that she wont make big huge deals out of things and doesnt have an extremely high sensitivity level.. and also doesnt have those traits combined with the longest memory ever.. Designed just for remembering thigns to dwell on and be irritated about in the future :)

  • I love it when Bashir winds O'Brien up!

  • LOL good one. Awesome.

  • fuck, now i'm angry because i'v allready seen all the startrek episodes :(

I wish i could " Un-See " them and watch em all over again! :D

  • HAH Hidden gay joke without actually saying it XD

  • LOL

  • the newer star treks are retarded

  • Hahahaha, I loved this part.

  • Talk about a lag moment on the first portion...

  • Awwwwwwkkkkwwwaaaarrrrrrrddd

  • Keiko is a pain in the ass.

  • @ariestiger I must say that I am glad that the actress that played Keiko decided to only appear in cameos (she was originally slated to be a regular main character).

  • Rut roh. That beep means bad news. Has there ever been a shuttle trip WITHOUT incident? They should really do away with them, or give them all armed escorts.

Holodeck needs to be banned too.

  • lol, Bashirs shifting eyes as he tries to respond to Obrian's "more like a man" remark. For a second, I could of swonr he was going to say "more like you" Which would of been funny in an whole other level.

  • Oh my god. it's "my fair lady" all over again! Why can't a woman be more like a man? Humph indeed.

  • Just after O'Brien's revelation, Alexander Siddig moves his face just like Mark Heap often did in the various comedies he starred in, and interestingly once sang a song on just the same kind of theme (search "Big Train Sexism Debate")

  • star treck humor xD

  • If anyone puts up an O'Brien/Bashir vid to the song "Why Can't a Woman be More Like a Man?" from My Fair Lady, my life will be complete.

*hint hint* That was a challenge, you know...

  • So obrien wants to secretly enter julians wormhole

  • So about this time should O'Brien be doing a Rex Harrison number?

  • I thought O'Brian was going to start singing that song from "My Fair Lady".

  • Awwwkwwaaaarrrrddd!

  • @mustang6172 You forgot Kirk and Spock!

  • It's no secret they are gay for each other -- look at the episode at the end of season 7 where they enter that covert op guy's mind. When they think they're both gonna die they tell each other they like each other more than their wife/girlfriend. Just make out/do each other already, geez.

  • wooooow colms voice is soooo amazing. i fall in love <3

  • What a Fag!!!!!

  • "So... you wish Keiko was ... a man !?"

"I wish i was on this trip with sum1 else, that's wot i wish!"

    lol sooooooo funni

  • Probably a reference to My Fair Lady.

  • ROFL!

  • im suspecting o briens gay i saw how he looked at data on next generation during battle bridge scene in the pilot

  • @kellyberry We all know Androids don't count.

  • xD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

  • It's guy love!

  • @LoD100 Muwhahaha! Now I gotta see if there's O'Brian/Bashir vid for that song from Scrubs. :P

  • wow

  • I remember that! XD That was freakin' hilarious! ROFL

  • O.O well then.

  • HAHAHAHAHA! Wow I've not seen DS9 yet but that was hilarious!

  • I love how Bashir was shaking at the start, like he really needed a caffine fix.

  • lol yeah what was that about

  • I sometimes wonder if it was just a real close bromance between the two , or a suppressed romance.

  • Which Episode was this from?

  • lol

  • On of the best funnies in whole ds9...

even better than when Worf was looking after Yoshi.. And that was funny!

  • I love Julian's laugh at the end.

  • ouch

  • I think this was the first TV bromance.

  • Felix Unger and Oscar Madison.

  • @mustang6172 and so brilliantly done.

  • @mustang6172 no, the first would have to be Data & Geordi

  • @mustang6172 Go look up an old show called Perfect Strangers. ^_^

  • Miles O'Brien Rulz =)

  • Yeah. It actually makes perfect sense you'd watch a video from a show you hated.

  • What?!!? Maybe for ppl who don't like Star Trek...

  • Comment removed

  • For awful see Enterprise and Voyager

  • you are awful. :( No kidding who cares about you

  • Comment removed

  • ahahaaa

  • "She says...that I'm expressing a subconcious desire--"

OH, so Keiko's a psycologist now?

Man, during the last season, it would've been rewardingl to see Ezri giving Keiko a lecture on how men REALLY think....

  • haha every star trek fan should see this clip xD

if anyone is watching in my recent activity box this is so FUNNY!!!!

  • so great!! :D ROFL

  • ROFL XD I swear by the end if the series they were secretly seeing each other ^^

  • lol 5 stars !!

  • ahahahahaha

  • This is why I love this show. Scenes like this are funnier than any sitcom... AND I don't have to listen to any moronic canned laughter!

  • @t1ngley Theres was tons of hilarious relief between these two guys. Through the whole 7 seasons!

  • @t1ngley oh god, yes... Star Trek Deep Space Nine, Babylon 5, Doctor Who, etc. are a hell of a lot funnier, more dramatic, etc, etc, etc. than any other stupid shows they produce in the US - how come the only intelligent television they can produce is in the sci-fi genre? is it the only audience over there, who has a brain? apparently so, cause all the sci fi shows are pretty good - some are better than others, ofcourse.

  • @t1ngley DS9 My fave of the lot

  • Meanwhile Keiko is talking to some of her friends. "How can he not see this?"

"The universe would be a whole lot simpler if men were more like women!"

  • haha... Star Trek exploring New Frontiers...

  • Bromance? LOL :) hahaha the dynamic between these two was funny sometimes. I especially liked when they returned from the Battle of Britian or from The Alamo. LOL they always had some new holosuite scheme. :)

  • obrien was the only main character in all star trek not to go to college. He was also the only one to have a wife and kids. Connction yuh huh

  • Sisko had a wife and son his first wife was killed by the borg @ wolf 359 and he later married cassidy yates Tuvok on STV did have a wife and kids and was a grandfather he was stranded in delta Quadrant dr cursher had a son and husband who was killed prior to NG janeway had a fiance before being stranded Data was an android incapable of sexual reproduction your theroy is flawed Resitance is futile

  • I said kids plural. and his was the only conventional family dynamic. Nagging wife home for dinner. stay out of fluidic space.

  • @KingDT2007 Who's Cassidy Yates?

  • @GenoCheese

    Sisko's lady

  • and starfleet academy basically is college. you have to go to starfleet in order to work on a starship or an outpost.

  • yeah but he didnt. All his knowledge he learned on ships as a regular sailor.

  • he still had to go to some technical classes. he was chief transport operator and that requires some classes

  • Well from my own experience its extremely rare to have a man with a college education not be a commisioned officer.

  • well maybe he didnt want to be one

  • haha I remember this episode. Another peek into Miles and Julian's bromance.

  • O Brien does Halifax adds now

  • He walked right into that one...

  • That's one of my favorite things about Trek. It manages to send out vast amounts of humor without having the characters make jokes that really look out of context. The humor is within the text, it's not the text itself.

Other shows do it too, but that was only one reason why Trek is the best. ;D

  • You mean *gasp* the humor is within the SUBtext?

    *wink wink*

  • lol

  • oh, julian.... XD

  • LOL from 0:35 to 0:50 Julian has a "Jack Sparrow" moment!

  • LOL

  • BWAHAHAHA!!!

  • lol I've actually heard a pair of guys have this exact same conversation... hillarious

  • Very funny video.

  • Great moment. I remember when I first saw it. Laughed my ass off.

  • loool this is like a seinfeld dialogue.

  • lol Bashir should have said in the end "not that there is anything wrong with it"

  • A British actor and an Irish actor!

  • thats preposterous...

  • rofl so he wishes she could be more like a man? sounds like he's distantly related to good ol' " 'enry 'iggins "

  • Why can't a woman be more like a man! Oh Lerner and Lowe, you've given us so much. Who'd've ever though DS9 would reference My Fair Lady so subtly!

  • This was probably the most realistic conversation in the history of Star Trek.

  • Not really. Some of the dialogue Bashir has with Garak is even better.

  • wow...i always new they were both gay....lol

  • ROFLMFAO!!

  • That would be difficult, even if you killed every homosexual, more would eventually appear.

  • wtf! I didn't realize everyone took my comment so seriously and gave me thumbs downs! I actually think that homosexual is a natural behavior in animals. All I was doing was making a tongue-in-cheek poke at the fact that homosexuality is a subject that has not been touched by star trek as much as it should. They talk about all the peoples of humanity getting together and not discriminating yet we dont see any open acceptance of homosexuality. Hence, the joke that everyone had a titty attack over

  • Oh soz. It's difficult to be sarcastic when there a genuine morons around, people think you're being serious.

I think they would be more humane than that, every time a gay man came out, they would be tied up and spanked until they retracted it... Oh wait. =)

  • nohomo 2240

    lol

  • love Bashir's side eye! oh man, I wish this show came on more than 2am on Spike...

  • What exactly is a "side eye"? The urban dictionary is less than forthcoming...

  • great characters, great show

  • hahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • OwNt

  • he is the guy u know would sound cool as a drill sargent!

"i drink gasoline and shit dynamite! don't fuck with ME!"

i can actually hear it now!

  • great vid, thanks for putting up

  • ahahaha!!!

    thanks for posting this!

  • Isn't that Irish guy in Con Air and Layer Cake?

  • yes. colm meaney. awesome actor.

  • He sure is mean as hell in Con Air.

  • ....Bullshit everything you just said about homosexuality is BULLSHIT. I dont whats up with you Sintar but its just bullshit, the way you think

  • haha, that is relevant only to the 21st century, by the 24th especially with all the other sexual practices of other species, it won't be such a big deal lol

Even men can learn and become enlightened eventually even if it does take 300 years lol

For now, well we'll just have to ignore the bigots like they ignore us. Life is too short to argue with fools lol ;)

  • hah hah hah hah. Why can't Keiko be more like the Doctooor. hah hah hah.

  • OMFG ITS JUST A VID LOL

  • I will not have my video spark a show of bigotry like this. I only posted it so people get a chuckle, not to invite passionate intolerance. Obviously the word 'homophobic' is attracting a lot of crazies so I'll be changing that as soon as I post this comment, and if you people keep arguing like this I'll start deleting posts.

  • dont delete the vids! just disable comments i for one enjoy these vids! Thx for posting

  • And let's not forget, Santa Claus knows who's been naughty and who's been nice. He has a list. So you'd better do what you think he considers to be good behavior, or you won't get your presents come Christmas Day. :D

  • xD @ Eclipse thats great

  • Santa was my cellmate >_>

  • Anyways i love startrek. And you dopes just got schooled juse styled lol.

  • Doctor Bashir looks like Amaar from Little Mosque on the Prairie.

  • OK. This may be a little dated but this is reminscent of the musical, "My Fair Lady" when Professor Higgins sings to Colonel Pickering about Eliza, "Why Can't a Woman Be More Like a Man?" Its a great song and I'm certain its on YouTube.

  • how the fuck is that homophobic???

  • DS9 = best SF show ever, hands down. From mid-season 3 to the very end, it rarely faltered. Smarter and funnier than any of the other Trek shows, it sadly never seems to get its due.

  • mid. season. 3.

you want me two watch two and a half freakin seasons of crap to get to the good stuff? you must be shitting me.

Why is it always like that wit ST? I'm almost to the good part with TNG and just finished voyager, but i can't make myself start DS9 cause the early episodes are so painfull

  • Don't worry, the worst parts of DS9 aren't nearly as bad as the painful first two seasons of TNG and they're certainly better than almost any Voyager episode ever produced (bar the ones focusing on the doctor, of course).

  • ok I've watched the first few episodes of Ds9 and want to tear my brains out from boredom.

Voyager on the other hand, was amazing. It had bad points of course, but for the most part 9/10

  • In that case, take my recommendations with a grain of salt. To me, Paris, Kim, Torres and Tuvok may be the most bland bridge crew ever devised and the show's plots ranged from merely pointless through thoroughly asinine with very few flashes of adequacy. And once they brought the titty-Borg on board, it was straight downhill from there. So, if you liked that show, I doubt DS9 is for you, sorry.

  • granted, those characters were fairly boring. I loved Janeway, Chakotay, the Doctor, and Seven though. Seven may have been brought in for her looks, but that doesn't mean she wasn't a good character

DS9 I haven't seen much of, but so far the only character I like is the shapeshifter. Worf actually got worse. Personalities aside, there's no adrenaline in DS9. It's all quiet conversations. Feels like sitting in a coffee room and chatting with these people 24-7. That only entertains for so long

  • No, but they are able to spell GENE..

  • Yeah, gotta destroy the gay gene. We can't have people being gay and not procreating. Why, that would be the end of the human race! *GASP* The only people having babies are teenagers like Juno, Bristol Palin, and Jamie Lynn Spears.

So yeah, gay people . Why don't you stop being gay, find a partner of the opposite sex, and have babies as quick as you can?! Our numbers are dwindling here!! Only 6.5 billion of us left!!! :|

  • Please tell me this was sarcasim.
