And is there any way to get back lost units later in the game?

Yes, when a unit dies, you can't use them in battle ever again until your next playthrough, or if you restart the chapter. As for the story, it varies. Sometimes they are kicked out of the story, but if there is an important character that oftenly contributes to the story (like Soren, Titania, Mist, Reyson, etc.), they will remain in the story for their important parts, but they will not be able to be used in battle again.

@SlimKirby Geez, when nintendo games get hard, they REALLY get hard! Usually nintendo games range from easy to reasonably challenging, but occasionally they make games like Donkey Kong Country Returns and Mario Galaxy 2 that are just horribly cruel!

Not a bad LP it's just.. People who watch LP's often do so for the story-line, and the commentary running through it- which has nothing to do with it- is a little distracting... for me at least.

If people are distracted by the main feature of something...then they shouldn't be looking there in the first place.

the diffrence is that you get nooo items thats right and if you choose to do that you might get screwd over get pwnd and die so use difficultys wisely if you dont die hardmode isa given for one of your units to die one of them will die

Another major difference to the difficulty settings is the amount of EXP you earn as well. So on Difficult (Hard) mode you recieve less than what I would call sufficient, lol.

Oh SlimKirby, the reason that the enemy attacked Ike instead of Boyd is simple. Ike is the main lord and if he dies it's an instant game over. Therefore the enemies are programed to always attack the main lord if they are in range. They will never go attack any other unit if the lord is in range.

omg people like lilvato1001 are so ignorant twords fire emblem..... blah blah blah... marth and roy blah blah blah.... no the only 2 characters mentioned outside a fire emblem game are not here... and roy is actaully one of the worst units in fire emblim history. Marth is a below average unit as far as the other lords go. If you want to see these lords go play fire emblems 1 and 3 for marth.... and go play fire emblem 6 for roy.... you will have to translate the rom for 6... never relesed in USA

Rolf has 3 roles, the triangle attack and the fact u can get shinon and also, amazing archer

Just put an archer near the boss. Make sure the boss cant move first. Make sure your guy cant die, even if the boss gets a critical. Keep ending the turn. The boss will constantly hit your archer. After each level use your healer to heal the archer. Repeat it over and over. Thats how I got my healer to lvl 20 easily on the fire emblem for gameboy SP. They are very helpful when they become bishops.

Rhys is a good, but I prefer Mist. Great mag and speed stats. If you use a physic staff to level her up by the long forest level, you can get her sword up high enough by the last third of the game to use a wind sword (when she usually has capped mag). She turns into one of the best characters in the game for me when it comes to magic, even better than Soren and rivaling Ike!

Not saying you should use her. This is just my own opinon on the character. Besides, you're doing just fine so far.

The exact formula for shoving is that your unit must have a Weight that is at least two less than the unit being shoved. For example. a unit with 6 Weight could shove a unit with up to 8 Weight, but no more than that. It' one of the only real uses for the Con stat in this Fire Emblem, since weapon Weight is calculated using the unit's Strength stat rather than the Con stat like in the GBA Fire Emblems.
