@sWeepingsAnd Some people do enjoy sex work but for most people, sex work isn't something they would want to do. Of course, many people go into desperate situations where they have to and this is especially true for transwomen. That being said, I support legalisation based on how it would create safer places for sex workers to work and if you do go into the sex industry due to lack of choice, having to deal with the law, STDs, etc. is not the best position to be in on top of that.

Really, in my mind, being responsible for a death by commanding is basically the same as killing them yourself even if you didn't directly do it. You're still responsible for it in one way or another by actus reus and I think that's all that matters. I'll ad an annotation for clarification. Thanks for the feedback.

So what does HRT do that makes it more important that the sex change? Just curious.

@mizakzee HRT basically makes all of the changes happen with the exception of genital reconstruction. It changes your body to be more feminine or masculine depending on the type of transperson you are. Changes such as facial structure, metabolism, body shape, growing breasts, and even changing thinking patterns. It's pretty much the meat of transition.

Inequality is a feminist concern. I was involved in the early feminist movement in the 1970's. One of the concerns of feminists was the importance of self identification. As women we were tired of men telling us what women were, both collectively and individually. You, as a trans-woman, similarly, has the right to define yourself as a woman. I ran into the rad-fems back then too and could never understand their fear that men - as transsexuals - were trying to co-opt the women's movement.
