@k6cam Ya, the rangers can be hit or miss, the next weekend we went out there, they came by our camp early in the morning and picked up all our trash for us haha. Some just have a stick up their ass sometimes. This was all shot on the GoPro HD in 720p. There was no post-prod stabilization. The camera and its mounts are amazing! Was checking out some of your videos, and out of curiosity, are you going to May Ride 2011? I think we're going to be out there getting some footage.

Those rangers are A-HOLES! My buddy got a DUI in his RAZR in the wash by camps and the ranger was a complete IDiot.. Made him walk a line in the rocks and sand as party of his 'field sobriety' test. Anyways, awesome vid - can't believe how steady the helmet cam is. Is that post-prod or do you have some kinda shock absorber on that thing?

I'm not going to tell him not to, I'll encourage that shit! 1 week after he bought it, he brought it out with us and got about 6 feet of air and stuffed the front end into some deep ruts in the landing. @milestonemx1 It's a Ford Raptor. If you look on Ford's website, you will see that these are factory built to go off-roading. They are built by the SVT (Special Vehicles Team) department of Ford. Look them up. They're pretty much prerunners you can buy at the dealer.
@charitystar1 The rangers came to bug us about someone who had the same truck as my buddy who was driving like an idiot close to camps. He then got pissed that it wasn't us and started running registrations on all the cars, questioning us for anything and everything then said we were banned for 2 days. Dumbest thing I've ever seen out there! Still love it though and its definitely my first choice to ride! Nice drumming btw.. Puts my 10 years of playing to shame!
fuck dude i love seeing people have fun in the desert. i used to have a honda 450 quad, honda CRF150F, yamaha TT-R 125, and a honda XR50 and i fucking loved the desert. but now all i have is my gear because my dad had to sell our bikes for some money. lifes a bitc , so keep doin itttttt:)

@xraver160 None of us had ever heard of anyone getting kicked out either, of ANY desert! The main reason I go to ocotillo is that you have very little ranger involvement. And they are very relaxed. Now though, everyone is spilling over from glamis and gordons since the ranger activity is insane! I give ocotillo another year or 2 before it is ruined like the other deserts!

They were running registrations on trucks and trailers and eventually we got fed up with them and they got fed up with us and told us were had to pack and leave and we were banned for 2 days haha what a joke
