The footwork slower down the spinning round kick. Expertise of kicking wouldn't nit to take tat many steps in order to execute that kick.

And it's not an Ushiro Mawashi if I'm not mistaken, it's an Ushiro Ura - Mawashi.

i completely agree. traditional stuff can be applied to ufc and mma too though. just check out Lyoto Machida he fights almost identically to our tournament karate and he's undefeated and i think current light heavyweight champ. It's pretty sick.
