3:50- 5:08 , that whole part jus made me like. its hard to explain. but u can really feel the music if u jus close ur eyes and listen, u feel the emotion in this song. i love this piece in particular, as well as his version of the Eve's Bayou album.

I heard this on my local college station a couple of years ago. The dj's just couldn't stop talking about it. Then I heard this track. It is very rare that a jazz track hits my chest like a ton of bricks. This is one of those rarities. I didn't catch the name of the song, I just barely caught the album's name. omg this is so beautiful and haunting at the same time. Its like you feel the emotions. I absolutely love the documentary of spike lee's when the leeves broke. i just cant stop watching it. im a major fan of terence blanchard and im 18 yrs old sooooo that should say alot. I love Terrence Blanchard. He has that unique REAL New Orleans Jazz sound that I really love. You can feel his music and he can tell you a story in the notes. Beautiful. Terrence is a real jazz genius. I am a fan forever.

this is probably one of the most beautiful / painfull songs ive ever heard when i saw this film the soundtrack stuck out like a sore thumb to me. and i hope all who survived katrina are doing well today for those who didnt may they r.i.p for they were delt a shitty hand of cards by the govt and there week long delay.
