I'm emotionally shocked of how incredible good and magnificent this song is. Not mention the fact that this kind of music is created by a metal band. (Stupid fucks like Venom, and other "TOUGH, ANGRY" metal bands are nothing compared to this kind of instrumental masterpiece. Sorrow, deep atmosphere, emotion, this is the meaning of Odal for me. EPIC.

So many bands of genres relevant to this are inspired by political ideals and aesthetics. Agalloch transcends all of that bullshit and nails the perfect atmosphere for just kicking up your feet, or for more focused and serious introspection. I know these guys certainly get enough praise by their devoted cult following without me posting this comment, but they are by no means overrated.
