Our chihuahua Katie does the same thing with Potty Pads. She always pees in the corner.

She also does what we have affectionately come to know as "The poopy dance", when it's time for #2. She flips out in a circle before doing her business. After she's done, she walks a foot or two away and kicks her back legs. Like she's covering it with imaginary sand or something.

Chihuahua's are a strange, yet awesome breed!

Those pads don't work. It confuses the pup on where to relieve itself. Any animal, dog or cat, should be allowed some time outdoors to explore and if needed, relieve itself.

By the way, be sure to reward Izzy with a treat whenever she does go on the pad. If you reinforce the correct behavior, she'll eventually catch on. Just don't pick her up and put her on the pad, because that will just confuse her. It will train her to think she can only go on the pad if you put her there. Potty training takes a LOT of patience. I feel for you.
