  • That Klu Klux Pyramid Head sure knows how to make an entrance.

  • Perfect music for Today, fits my mood wonderfully.

  • James messed up Silent Hill so bad. Pyramid Head still lingers there and Siams are a recurring enemy since his visit.

  • Pyramid Head appeared when you least expected it, usually when you thought you were safe. First in the apartments, then in the hospital with Maria, then in the labyrinth. It's like that on purpose, it's to make James remember all of the evil he has inside him. He forgets or thinks everything might be fine, and "it" appears to remind him that it's not.

There is no peace until you admit what you have done wrong, and face up to that fact. That's why PH watches James, the guilt is there. Face it.

  • this is my wedding day music

  • I've never played silent hill but this gives me chills

  • where do u download it?

  • This song makes me feel so sad for some reason...

  • Silent Hill exists in the state I live in.

  • Silent Hill is alot of things, one is a purgatory, a self serving prison that people who deep down inside wish to punish themselves seek out... No one can escape Silent Hill lest they repent or die. Pyramid Head can't die.

Pyramid Head is the manifestation of the urge to punish oneself for ones crimes, as long as you are in Silent Hill, he will follow you, he will hunt you down because you need to be condemned.

  • 10 people were weak...that's why they needed to dislike this. Now it's time to to end this.

  • The great thing is, Red Pyramid is a GOOD GUY!

  • Sure is pretentious in here.

  • @Shloopp How so?

  • tenso...

  • My role model! Pyramid Head FTW

  • LEAVE US BOTH THE HELL ALONE!

  • This shit is fucking awesome.

  • Id rather be in Silent Hill then Great Britain right now.... Fact....

  • pyramid-head...the judge of sins...

  • silent hill 4 ever...the nicest world ever...

  • Reflecting on my past misdeeds (sins imply religiousness) is great when listening to this song because you feel somewhat forgiven after it. Maybe i just forgave myself.

  • this music track makes me think of a senario of feeling the bliss of finally knowing the truth but at the same time the despair of realising it's horrible.

  • Get 'em James!!!

  • This song is really beautiful<3 Has so much emotion<3

  • I have a question. In the near ending of silent hill 2, where James fight the two pyramids heads, and and they're defeated, they do suicide. I know it has something to do with James, because he is pyramid head. By why the suicide? I don't understand that.

  • @ninjagirlkairi7 Pyramid Head was the manifestation of James' guilt, so once he accepted what he'd done wrong at the end, their purpose had been completed, so they killed themselves.

  • Comment removed

  • @ninjagirlkairi7 He doesn't need them anymore. They were created by his inward anger at himself and his sexual tension, once he admitted that we was weak and alone, they were no longer needed in Silent hill so they killed themselves.

  • Pyramid head- the manifestation of guilt

  • If the world ends and Satan comes out of a gaping hole in the earth Revelations-style, this is the kind of song I'd expect to hear.

  • It is the end

  • GREAT!

    LOVE SILENT HILL!

  • u wake to screams, the thirst of blood in your eye. my life flashing through my mind, all i recall is the pain. the darkness of shadow is all that remains. i hear the reaping of the evil souls, feeling the anguish they once showed. over powering fear within me,my heart has become empty. no were to run with the sounds of torment all around.the sensation crawling up beneath me.pulling me down ever so slowly to my everlasting death of a sinners slavery the torture of the victims memories;my eternity

  • It's Him...

  • If you ever hear this song out of nowhere in the dead of night, you are screwed.

  • This music is so sad. =( Always affects me emotionally.

  • I'm watching this on Halloween because it's what I think what it should be like for me

  • that time when you hear the siren... and you shit yourself

  • i iwsh every sinner goes to silent hill !!! that way this world would be a better place..

  • CUPCAKES

  • the grip of this song seems to emit a feeling of perpetual guilt... james felt guilt for both maria and mary's death, he created pyramid head to punish him.. "I was weak..." James said.. his eyes burning with tears " i needed you to punish me.. well now i guess i dont need you.." (or something like that)

  • I am soo fucked!!!! Now I need a another theme from somewhere else!

  • yes...der sündenwalzer...ist und bleibt in meinem herzen

  • To me

1:Scratching/Scraping Sounds in the background represent Hard Labor and Obstacles we have to face in life

2: The Metal Clanking Sounds like Hope Trying to break free

3:The tune sounds Like Good Times in life.

  • I hear Einstürzende Neubauten in this \m/

  • I like this music. While i do not beleive instrumental music can in anyway be expressed in words, inevitability is the closest I can come to. Though in the contet, inevitability is not truelly a bad thing.

As for pyros comment, I can understand wye that would come to mind, But in silent hill the horror is more personal. the progress of humanity is not something it usually discusses.

And finally, I agree Sad hippo is being a jerk, But stop with the ageism comments.

  • Glory is not the word that comes to mind when I hear this.

    Despair, Inevitability, Realization, Fear.

  • @whitechapel610

    @SilentJ43

    @Shurryy

    come at me hoes.

  • Can you imagine it? Standing in a hallway reeking of blood and dust and darkness. You're just standing there, at a loss for what you're doing in that godforsaken town. Everybody you meet is telling you that you sinned. You have to repent. And then you hear it. The screeching of heavy metal on metal, the sudden change in the atmosphere. . . That's how you know the Red God comes for you.

  • @lowfoam1 Ho-ly.. shit.

  • @lowfoam1 Welcome to Silent Hill :D

  • @lowfoam1 when i am reading your text i cried, because i peee in my pants <.<

  • @lowfoam1 Meh, that's my average sunday night.

  • @pyrotacktick

for some reason I doubt that you associate this song with a "forever motive of humanity"(?) or "only human... domination". It's probably more along the lines of: "DERP I HEAR SAWS IN BACKGROUND OF AMBIENT INDUSTRIAL MUSIK LUL IMA POST STUPID COMMENT RELATING TEH MUSIKZ TO DA SOCIAL CONCEPTZ ON UTUBEZ!!!"

  • @verysadhippo you are a dick bro

  • @verysadhippo It's okay, you're just a kid. You'll have complex inner emotions and deep thoughts when you're older.

  • @verysadhippo

Well aren't you a very sad hippo then?

  • I LOVE THIS FUCKING SONG.

  • Have you tried the cupcakes? They're to die for ...

  • Just a tip for you all- If you're ever going downstairs in the middle of the night for whatever reason, make sure this song doesn't come on shuffle.

  • I'm gonna work on making a looped version of this to play constantly outside of my house on Halloween.

  • @DementedStudios9007 have you played silent hill? if you didn't then you gonna love it when you tried it

  • @californiadude174 I'm working on getting a copy of Silent Hill 1 or 2. Probably 2, but I'm not sure.

  • Sounds beautiful

  • Why are all the people in cages???

  • @TheMissAvengelie If you played silent hill 2 you'd understand that.

  • @wwwpwndcom Well i haven't played SH2.

Can u plz tell me why they are in cages???

  • @TheMissAvengelie The picture in question is seen in-game before the hospital on a wall, it is titled "Misty day, remains of the Judgement" upon examination. The metal lattice around the hanging victims are the same as the final boss, which is his caged dead wife, Mary. It symbolizes Mary's sense of confinement and James ongoing denial of what he did to his wife.

All the enemies and most scenery in the "other world" are products of James' sexual dysfunction as he descends into hell.

  • @TheMissAvengelie James is locked in a room full of disfigured caged bodies just like in the picture later on, representing the bed she laid on. They have what appears to be a vaginal opening, which again goes back to James and his rapings.

The entirety of SH2 is James' descent into hell, what manifests as monsters in his own fucked up world directly relate to his guilt.

  • @wwwpwndcom Thanks for the spoilers, dickweed.

  • @DoctorRainbow8321 Was answering a question fucko.

  • @wwwpwndcom U mad, faggot?

  • @DoctorRainbow8321 U faggot mad? I have reversed your words, your argument is invalid

  • @DJSKWhirl That's not reversed, your argument is fail.

  • @DoctorRainbow8321 I did it, so that it would still be somewhat logically sound, little troll.

  • @DJSKWhirl None of what you type contains the least bit of logic. Your so called logic is so distorted you think anyone who disagrees/argues with you is a troll. Fallacy.

  • @DoctorRainbow8321 is logic always the truth? what was the beginning of it all, was it anything but distorted?

  • @DJSKWhirl Fail attempt at philosophy.

  • @DoctorRainbow8321 A philosophical attempt at a fail? what is the outcome?

  • @DJSKWhirl You being an idiot some more.

  • @DoctorRainbow8321 Am I, I have to say,it's quite the contrary, O' ye who lacks good grammar.

  • @DJSKWhirl Wow. Insulting my perfect grammar while failing at it horribly yourself. You can't even punctuate properly, way to go.

  • @DoctorRainbow8321 "You being an idiot some more." Yes, there is your "perfect" grammar, there was no base to as where that statement originated, you created a fragment sentence. I shall not sit here, and argue with a person such as yourself, if you proceed to comment sir, I will not respond. Good day to you.

  • @DJSKWhirl Actually in context that IS perfect grammar, unless you're an idiot who cannot comprehend things from a different view. You won't respond because you're out of decent rebuttals and either way you'll prove me right.

  • @DoctorRainbow8321 What is context but philosophy? Anyway, it's good to see someone on here has a brain, most people who get into an argument would have given up,. I'm happy to see you put up a fight, and I respect that, I was having fun, and by the thought you put into your replies, it seemed that was the case for you too. and if anything, fighting back and forth relieves stress. Is there really a winner?, I'm not being arrogant, just asking, and if so, whats the prize?

  • @DJSKWhirl It's funny how you said you wouldn't respond. i.e. I've obviously pissed you off and won.

    Gg.

  • @DoctorRainbow8321 it's called drawing the line, and having respect, I was being nice, not a smart ass, but thanks dude, I tried to message you, you had friend lock on, so I came here, to say I was sorry, but I guess you don't care,I have respect for those who have respect for themselves. there, its done, sorry I took up your time

  • @TheMissAvengelie Mary dies 3 more times by the monster in the picture throughout of the game. After James kills her one final time, he comes to term with the truth, and inevitably is stuck in hell forever.

  • this song scars me , it always remind of ..of PPYYramid head with his sharp knife following me around

  • Seven people were raped by Pyramid head.......

  • OMFG i get the chills and i see ghosts by listening this (Call me weird i don't care)

  • There's some serious bass deep down there...

  • i love this music, too... scary scary scary...^^

  • Only Silent Hill could make the sound of a power saw slicing through wood sound cool lol

  • As I write, I finished this game an hour ago, it's 4am.

One hears what one wills. But I hear that beat being the feel of self-confidence of a survivor, the screams are of both a tormented witness and a newborn soul. The choir is the sense of fullness of a pilgrim that has traveled through hell and back, now accepting that the evils of this world come from inside and cannot be pushed away or destroyed.

I am not a believer, but this game made me feel like all of my sins had been burned away.

  • This song is indescribably captivating in so many ways. It's the equivalent of finding out Optimus Prime is your true father in disguise. Aka: You don't know why, but it's cool.

  • @pyrotactic

    Interesting observation.

  • this song is scary

  • the band Hellish Outcast used this song as an intro in Devilstone Open Air 2011

  • Why does this song remind me of the concept of industrialism...it's forever motive of humanity, its thirst for expansion, it's desire for complication, and...it's never ending quest...for domination...only human...that's what comes to my mind when i hear this sound...gears...saws...tools...domination...and the blood, sweat, pain, and glory of the human race (DAM THAT WAS EFFING DEEP!)

  • @pyrotactick it was indeed deep! but true, so so so true

  • @pyrotactick O_O wow...BRAVO!! *applauses*

  • @pyrotactick Some of the background actually sounds like a repetitive machine at work

  • Comment removed

  • @pyrotactick nice thought.

  • @pyrotactick it's not really that deep to overuse ellipsis to the point that you sound like an angsty teenager, and then call yourself deep.

I'd call that arrogant, to be honest.

  • @Epicfraxy Who cares? Listen to the music and stop worrying about others.

  • What u been smoking son?

  • wait not a bible study they came over to talk and stuff

  • my mom had a bible study group over so i played this without the music part and i had a friend dress like a phyco and drag a lead pipe around we sprayed my shirt with red dye mixed with water and i got on the ground and my mom came in here and screamed then passed out almost

  • I played this song in my basement when my mom's Catholic studies came over.

  • This song makes me feel like nothing will be okay.

  • Nice! I'm going to do a cosplay of the pyramid head and i want this to play whenever it comes to my cosplay.

  • 7 peoples are still denying their sins !

  • I found this song from the story, 'Iron Pyramids', and I love this song now. Thank you, ashluvinresi4 for posting this song on YT, and for CyndarDragon putting the link to this song on their story. I listen to it while reading their story, now.

he received a stange paper of his wife,to go to Silent Hill

    and he goes

this music appears in the end of the game, wen james confront the Red Pyramid(pyramid head)

and other monsters are his soul, with diabolic forms

    HERE IS GABRIEL FERRERI

    FAN OF SILENT HILL

    i am brazzilian

  • this music is a very good song,=)

please play silent hill 2 to know the music

that song appears in the end of the game

    creepy!!

  • best!

    but creepy

  • it is good to listen to...surprisingly when i hear it i sorta feel safe...idk why but i do..the scraping of metal sends shivers up my spine but when i hear it i think "hey...Pyramid Head is close by and im safe from everything else as long as he's near" (ive seen and played SH way to many times...

  • whats the purpose of the pyramid heads in the game?

  • @supraelite07 pyramid head represents james' guilt over killing mary. the second one is there because james killed eddie

  • @crazyjohn88cp thanx :)

  • @supraelite07 no problem

  • @supraelite07 he is the punisher, if u have played silent hil 2 james felt guilt for killing mary, so his guilt manifested into pyramid head, like Alex, he killed his lil bro, he felt guilt and remorse so that manifested and he and james and everyone else was punished.... does that help? :D

  • Well i havent played this game and i did listen to it when my brother used to play it and i do really like this song even if i have goosebumps and shiver when listen to it (sorry for my english i hope its the right words) ^^

  • the punisher*

  • also, it's fitting for Apocalypse

  • I like to play this when I am in a nightmare, and facing my own fears. When you are alone in unknown city, and everything in there wants to murder you violently, and you lost all hope, this theme is good to play.

  • I find pyramid head helpful in the game more than dangerous. He's the reason you're able to get to different stages in Silent Hill 2 and when they've served their purpose with James, they kill themselves. Maybe they fight James to see if he'd fight to keep going, but I don't think his original purpose was to be evil like they show in the movie or Silent hill: Homecoming.

  • @Strawbellies Oh my gosh, he had a freaking purpose in Silent Hill Homecoming! Look it up and read for yourself!

  • @Strawbellies He wasn't evil in Homecoming, he's a punisher! It's his job to punish those who are guilty.

  • @ronvins His original purpose was to make James see what he did and when he does they kill themselves when they've fulfilled their purpose (they kill mary who isn't real). They say that in Homecoming he "punishes" Alex's dad either because Alex wanted him punished or because his Dad wanted to punish himself, but that's not what Pyramid was made for to begin with. And to me, killing for any reason is evil so I guess that's a matter of opinion. But he really lost his credibility over the years.

  • @Strawbellies Yes killing is a form of evil, but although Maria was not real, she was killed which was real to James. Which could be seen also as evil, in my opinion. I do respect the way you put it but I see pyramid head as a character that is important to show what or how the characters have screwed up and how he punishes them for their sins. This is just how I see it.... I apologize if some doesn't make sense or if I sounded very rude in my last comment, I've been sick and don't feel good. :(

  • I just looked out my window with this music playing...it's morning but everything is a very dark and eerie blue and lightning is flashing in the distance...

  • watching this alone at 2 am IS NOT AMUSING :<

  • You guys wanna know the PERFECT song to match Pyramid head? ^-^ Well... Since your reading... XD Closer by Nine Ince Nails! :D The chourus of the song is "I want to fuck you like and animal, I want to feel you from the inside. X'DD I think it matches him... Dunno... Check it out for yourself. o.O"

  • fuckin hate pyramid

  • @imadefrumpy
