Is it not good to put nail polish close to the cuticles? On a lot of nail blogs I've noticed that they don't make the nail polish touch the cuticles - is it healthier to leave a small gap?

@seabury I've found that if I cover the cuticle my nails start snapping like something crazy so personally I'd recommend you don't cover the cuticle. Leave just a tiny gap so your nails can breath
