  • nice vid!

  • The video should be entitled "how to break a tape delay".

  • Other than demagnetizing the heads or making another tape loop from scractch when the old one wears out, this unit has not needed any servicing since I bought it thirty years ago (in my twenties) out of rentals at Vancouver's Long & McQuade. The video was to pass on tips on how I "play it" in live performances, and to pass on some comparative info to help someone who was having problems with theirs in another town.

  • nice device, annoying "user"... you dont even give the machine time to actually do what it does... just keep pushing buttons like a 3 year old when looks for the first time at a remote control....

  • There is a volume drop when more than one head is selected....I had two of these from new in the 1980s and noticed the problem....had to adjust the echo level to compensate.....nice echo but I ended up prefering the Roland RE-301 which for guitar has the best range of sounds from the choice of 201/310/501......especially if you're a Hank Marvin fan....

  • @valves4ever does the RE-301 spit the wet and dry outputs like this?

  • I want this unit if you ever sell it please PM.

  • Nice video, showing all of the functions of te Se500.

Yours sounds and looks like new. Mine is a bit more damaged, so I can only use channel A. Also, my head selectors dont work that powerfull when more than one are on. There seems to be some kind of volume drop with multiple heads selected.
