Hi. The 550tvl work well with 720x572 resolution. The 4 channel DVR I use on the race cars, boats etc use 4 channels at 720x472 and 25fps per channel .The whole kit including 4 x 550 TVL adjustable cameras, 4 channel DVR, mic , leads etc is not much more than $1100 au.

Some of my Full 1920x1080 HD DVR to Top Fuel drag cars.

For a 640x480 at 30fps all in one water proof DVR I sell them for around $90 on ebay. Check bigtony20062007 for my range and prices.

550 tv lines camera, 240 lines DVR, that no make sense.I'm looking for at least 640x480 portable DVR but they are hard to find and expensive too.

WDR pref pixim. where it adjusts light control on pixel base not on whole picture. anything else is a waste of money. buy a pit bull or an slr canon with trigger.
