if you boost the volume but bring back the master volume is it still an overdriven tone, or do you really have to get it loud?

@MTLguitarist98 Since I spend most of my time in the bedroom, I can't boost the amp to be THAT loud. So what I do, is put the Master Volume at around 1 or 2, then boost the Volume to 10-12, it gets real dirty then, so yeah, You can lower the master volume.

Sounds from the description like it be like a Bassman on the normal channel cranked but obviously without the volume and weight. Am I in the ball park?

@weiserec66 Just got one of these today. I don't know about the bassman, but I have a deville 410 and as you would expect, it has more bottom end than the jr, giving it a fuller clean sound, but when it comes to overdrive, this amp rules!

with cannabis/hemp being the main "ingredient" here was it cheaper to produce or is the gimmick of cannabis make the price tag higher?

I recall reading that hemp was suppose to take over paper as a cheaper and more effective alternative means, so seeing it used in an amp makes me wonder if it is a much more effective product than other stuff.
