@007bondjb Maybe you could do an overview of Mexican food... We have a taco time in Grande Prairie and Edmonton has a taco bell. They taste greasy... The thing is I don't know what the dishes are really supposed to taste like... We tried cooking with Cummin but we keep going back to using Elpaso Taco mix... We use it with Chicken and Hamburger... I like the spicy .... but that is probably much more tamer compared to what you like.
It's damn hard to find *really* good Mexican food. We have one place here that kicks ass, a little known, out of the way, Mom & Pop place, best Mexican ever. Most of the well known ones are americanized, and range from mediocre to crap.
That oil in the air still bugs me. And they have the nads to tell us they've cleaned it up? A sea breeze off the Gulf should NOT leave a slick on your truck! That's sick.

Fucking oil spill...the folks who were paid to clean up the exxon spill back in the 80's only live to an average of 52 years...it aint the oil that is so dangerous its the damn chemical that they use to cover/clean it up.

Thanks for the first hand account of WTF is going on down there. It seems as though the press has forgot all about how the spill is still fuking things up down there. Chile Rellenos are the shit. Try making them with a red or green chile sauce stuffed with jack cheese and shrimp and maybe some crab. This is a dish were cheese and seafood could go together. OOOH Boy !!

Hey JB, It seems to me like breathing in all that oil all day would be dangerous to your health. We have several good Mexican Restaurants where I live here in Texas! We have what is called Tex-Mex cooking and it is outstanding! Nothing like good Tex-Mex cooking along with an Ice Cold Lone Star Beer! Enjoyed the videos! Take Care!
@skoggit It was the Corexit that we smelled in the air, I think. It had a chemical fuel smell to it. I'm sure it aint good for you to breath them fumes
Good quality Mexican food rocks. The fact that you went there twice shows that the quality of the food speaks for itself. Not all restaurants who serve shit food go down but all the ones serving good food prosper.
Dammit you're funny. I thought you'd have a Karcher at home. I was in an old motor home that had an oil leak. It caked up the radiator (engine in the back) and the cooling stopped. The coolant pump busted as well and the ass end of the unit assploded on the highway. Small fire...big story. I'll never forget that.
