It is being cut with paper on top of aluminum honeycomb material. The paper seals the bed and creates a vacuum to hold down your material as well as remove smoke and fumes.
What type of material is the Corian sample resting on...it appears to be some sort of poly sheet resting in top of the diamond mesh bed....Does it help prevent bottom side burning or 'flashback'? Thanks...we're looking into a Kern 150 or 400 for our Wood Processing work...
I can do better with a jigsaw... amatures.
