@Schnook429 Make sure you're using the most recent version of boarderlands save edit software such as WilloTree. Also the new updates that came out the same time Fort Knoxx DLC came out, made most custom weapons vanish. If you make a normally impossible weapon, the game simply removes it. Some people are cleaver enough to know what mods are now banned and carefully avoid particular combinations, but you'll have to go and research which ones don't work. All in this video are banned now :(
On the plus side, it is possibly to edit weapons on the Xbox. Just follow the link I put in the description, they have a tutorial to edit xbox saves. As for my guns, I'll release the code for them if anyone asks. I was going to put them in description, but text is beyond typing limit.
That's what I was doing was making my own weapons. You have to follow within the confines of how the game is programmed though. So you can only pick out existing parts for weapons and put together your own using the scripting language the game used. Again, referr to the link in the video description.
@hilliard20914 I've been wanting to, however I trashed my dove before I started modding and haven't since gotten one to dismantle to find the code. If you have the code for the dove I'd like to know it. I figure the special part on the dove is either the mag or tittle attribute.

I know how to change it to have no requirement, it should be obvious in the video that I'm using 'gearbox' weapons. I deliberately set it to gearbox which removes level requirements. However when you do that it changes the weapon's quality level to '0'. You still also haven't backed up your claims at all. Either post an export of your weapon config, or post a video reply. If you want to show me up, then do it. Otherwise you're just one of those idiots that got a custom gun but never made one.

why dont you put the dove barrel on these guns so that you wouldnt have to reload or run out of ammo

Let me ask again, at LEVEL 3?? If so then share your results. It means nothing if you can do 130k but only because it's a level 45 weapon.
