  • mine are not as big as this ones...

  • Beautiful! I just recently discovered aguilegias and I love them! I'm curious if you allow them to cross-pollinate and self sow?

  • just beautiful, I have tattoos of them up my arm

  • Very good video!

  • I will look forward for your columbine collection 2010!!!

    2009 was amazing!!!

Wann kommt columbine flower collection 2010?

  • Hi :-)

    Thank you very much. :-)

Yes its true, they favor loamy soil. I live in Austria, a natural home of wild columbines... so the most species grow well at our conditions.

    ALl the best wishes, Robert

  • Oh my goodness, you have so many different types of columbines!! These are my favorite flowers ever! I wish I could grow them as well as you. What kind of soil do you have where you live? I've read that columbines like loamy, gritty/rocky soil. Is that true? I have clay-like soil in my yard, so my columbines don't fare too well in it. I'm thinking of adding some lime and sand to my flower bed to make it more inviting for columbines. You have a lovely garden by the way!!!
