No contradiction, br0tato - I appreciate the arrangement, but I don't enjoy it. Aside form personal preference, there are clearly recognizable elements by which this cover can be classified as hipstershit. I mean, they could completely change the lyrics and I'd have no problem with it - but as it is, it's a violation of a fuckwin classic hard rock song, and I can't abide by that.

I'm sorry, but hard rock does not deserve the easy-listening treatment. The original is a masterwork - and while I recognize the skill behind the composition and execution of this alternate take, I must argue that it does not retain any of the original's soul. This isn't melancholy - it's almost whiny, and far too soft. Of course, this is only my opinion - great for you if you actually enjoy it. Just be aware that preferring this version means you may be a hipster faggot.

Wow very interesting for sure! I love the original but this very cool. My only criticism is the harmony vocal is a bit too loud in the mix over the melody line. Great choice for a cover, and the lead guitar is sweet!
I usually don't like covers, especially if I liked the original song, but I have to say this is very well done. Beautiful vocal harmonies and a mellow haunting sound. Very nice! [The original is one of my favorite BOC songs.]
I can't believe that this awesome song has so few ratings and comments! Thank you, friend for uploading, Espers is such a great love! I also thank my friend, artmaniac53, for posting this.
I came here looking for the BOC version, out of curiosity. Beautiful vocals and harmonies, I'll need to check out more from these guys. :D
