I've heard alot of his negative predictions for the Chinese economy and as well as positive ones. And there are more people like him in China. All of them take part of the CEF and are very critical of the government, but ofcourse, they wouldn't go as far as saying: "Down with Hu Jintao!" or something like that.

Chinese CRH-380 trains are a good example, which are capable of travelling 380km/h include Chinese technology. HST helps improve urban living and reduce sprawl, almost any industrialised nation has one, but it seems the US wants to stay as conservative as possible. Your tech may be better than the Chinese in general, but don't forget we are catching up.
