This was originally released on a 1987 single. Lyrics: The body that they built to fit the car / TBTTBT reach the stars; TBTTBT reach the bar / TBTTBT lift a jar; TBTTBT play guitar / TBTTBT oompah-oompah; (repeat 1st couplet); Hey Buddy can you spare a body / Hey body can you spare a Buddy / You know who you are...
This video was produced by Steve Haley at The Vision Factory in Bristol and made it onto the Chart Show as a new release. Amazing really as the track was never actually released as a single in the UK. But in those pre MTV days it was just a case of hastling the video controller on a show till they showed it.
A surreal nightmare - never seen another music video like it - wouldn't want to watch this one on acid!

This track is from the album "Smoke time", released in germany in the year 1987 (white vinyl!). It has Paul Wigens on drums and VIOLIN.

This version is different from the version on "Smoke Time" - that version featured saxophone - this version is from the greatest hits compilation
