Yes luicer was the morining star and the bringer of light but he wanted more power it wasnt enough so he tried to overthrow God and took 1/3 of the Angels with him. He obviously failed and was banished and punished no longer being gods "Morning Star" or "Bringer of Light"

Actually, there is great debate about exactly which order(s) of angels are higher than the others, but it is generally agreed that Lucifer was in one of the (if not THE) top ranks of angels. Archangels are the fighters, but they also seem to be some of the most powerful angels as well.

right Lucifer was a Seraphim as people depicted him having 4 or 6 wings, symbolic for the highest rank of Angel. But Cloud still has a point, Lucifer had many different meanings and in Latin I think it was derived from Enlightenment.

Lucifer means Bringer Of Light. He was the first Angel created by YWHW. Then Satan means the accurser or accuser.  Not quite sure what he is yet. My guess is he is not an angel because of YWYW not recognizing him the first time they met.

Apparently Lucifer was a star i think or a comet anyways a scientist seen the star fall and wrote in a journal oh Lucifer oh Lucifer why do you fall from heaven.So people thought he was talking about Satin really he meant the star.also Satan used to be the angel of light and music he was also a arc angel until he got jealous and thats how the endless war started.I believe there is more demons unknown to man.like sexual demons because sex is soooo easy to tempt people with.

this reply maybe distant from your last reply. but, they used to call him the bringer of light because he used to wear armor that would reflect light. and...for that matter, the light he was giving off...was the light being emitted from "god", so he could also "look" like a god. thats why he was banished...for wanting power, to be his own ruler.
