They wanted Harry's ability to question every sentient being he encounters until their breaking point. Also, he PWN'D Alessa. Heather was rejected because she was whiny, so Harry decided to get revenge while James got his turn to peacefully sip tea with the aliens. Henry was rejected because of his stupidity, and they wanted Alex for his sheer badassedness.

after beating the game, a sapphire or something like that appears in the bathroom at the beginning. you pick it up and use it at 2 certain parts (I think one was in the hospital and one was at the dock in front of the hotel).

once you beat the game again, you see this crazy awesome ending.

You have to get Silent Hill 1 and then beat it (doesn't matter what ending you get).

Then Paste Silent Hill 1 with Silent Hill 2 (back to Back now) and fart in you're playstation 2 and close the lid real fast. So that the next time someone else opens it (BLAM) all over their face!
