This game should be realistic, making it more of a challenge for players, especially with the apprentice, Darth Vader and Yoda using light sabers. One strike against the body with either sword or light saber should kill the opponents and players with one direct instead of looking like they are beating each other up with baseball bats. Show some damage, slash marks, beheadings, impalements and so forth.

You should try Bushido blade.

I mean not killing the opponent with one strike, I mean it could happen, but depending on the type of character you face, you may have to do some serious damage in order to defeat him, or maybe wear him down enough so you could move in with a finishing blow. Or if it is possible, have your character send your opponent's blade flying out of his hands. Of course there's bound to be strategy. The fights would not be a walk in the park.

and yes, they have the force but you can just guard impact it.

so they would be able to cut through them/armor easily so there would be no point in bleeding

I think the apprentice is super cheep in normal and online play if your connection is really good. If you run crap like mine you end up not being able to do any combos. Cervantes and Maxi are the n00b online guys IMO as well as algol who is just kinda cheep all around.
