I have seen Aynsley do this a few times now. It always gets a great reception, different to his usual stuff (well it is a cover). Have to remember that the purple geezer is actually a very good guitarist as well. Aynsley can go to town on this or keep it mellow. Good choice of an interesting track that will always get a comment.

I have seen/heard him play this a couple of times. Hmm, I am still unsure of its merit in the ALB context when there are so many other songs he could do if he must do covers. This is the problem, you either love or hate Prince and I suppose I am in the latter group. The guitar parts are great - let's face it anything Al plays is great but this is the closest I get to getting up and going to the bar.
