But if u do play gears 1 and then 2. you will get the story better. its really good story. actually amazing. but if u can get those 2 there both REALLY good. and get ready for Gears of war 3 to launch april 2011 ;)

Mad world is a classic commercial, one of the best game commercials ever up there with Halo 3's trailers. Mad world and Last Day are good because they really project emotion of the characters onto you, I love gears of war and its excellent character development and story. GO MAD WORLD!

I'm torn. I like both since the video is magnific and the music matches both. Gears 1 trailer is very moody and dark like Mad World which makes you look at it as a very bleek situation. Devotchka's How this will end matches with Gears 2 because they know how it will end: in one apocolyptic battle with many lives lost and one side still standing.

I think what was fun about the first game was that you could kill the most basic of the Locust (grubs), but you were completely at the mercy of bigger ones (Brumaks, Corpsers).

But what i think killed the second one's campaign was that you killed Brumaks and Reavers Left-and-right... i took the thrill out of it...

hhmm well i gotta say Last Day was my favorite. This was because it gave a more somber feeling with the song. I also like the scenes where he was zooming into the flower and gazing at it;Also Marcus looking at the sky. This showed that they were getting a last glimpse at the planet, because they were going deep into the ground and may never return to the surface. Last Day had a "We must finish the fight, even if we die trying" feeling.I liked madworld's survival feeling just not as much as this

"Last Day" is emotionally driven. As far as the gears know, they are all going to their deaths in a final Push to save mankind. They don't know if they will suceed or fail. Ultimate Sacrifice = Ultimate Victory. All you have to do is think back to WWII. Its a shame kids now adays really have no clue what was done.

i like the last day one. i already knew the mad world song before i saw the trailer and it just made it better since it used a song that wasnt really highly known before that. i liked that. the last day one uses a song ive never heard and really like. the feel for the last day one is alot more somber, like "yeah, here goes nothing". mad world one has a more survival feel, while last day has a more "going to die" feel. i like them both, but i like the last day one better.

After seeing this, I would say the Last Day one seeing as how they must fight underground and they all have that moment of piece and tranquility before they are forced under and may never see the beauty of above again. The first trailer really only shows Marcus point of view. The 2nd one really shows you the gentler side to all of them instead of the usual killing machine. Especially Cole, his part really sorta hit deep for me.
