This was the best show i've seen since adam-12 back in the 70's. once it had my attention they removed it from broadcast t.v. it alway's happen's this way.shame on the network.
oh man, Ive been lookin for this show. Could never figure out why they canceled it. Its weird sometimes, how these "quality shows" dont catch on because they're competing with other lame ass shows that do better in thte ratings. Anybody know what other show this one was competing with??
@MisterCrazyLegs From what I've read, this show was competing with "Friends" at the time. Of course, what show could secede against something as huge as Friends, during those days. It's sucks! I was living in The Netherlands at the time in the late 90's and this show was on TV there. I remember being 14, and watching every single episode ever made. Only to find out, It was canceled years before. I hope someday they bring it out on DVD, but I have the feeling that they wont.
Freind's on Thursday nights but the real reason was a power politics between two people and was canceled at the very last second just to prove a point to someone else.
i remember watching the pilot when i was about 19 when i seen the intro i noticed that the african american cop wasnt in it i said to my gf the black dude dies its always the black dude
I only got to see 2 episodes of it before ABC showed their stupidity and canceled the series.
It made quite an impression on me as a viewer, and the only police drama that I would put up there with "Hill Street Blues" as far as impact was concerned. I saw some bootleg site where the show could be purchased on DVD, but can't remember their site address, if you wait around for the industry to release it on home video, you're in for a major disappointment, they only release garbage right away.
I completely agree. I absolutely adore this series. If only the damned studios would release the dvds for it (and put it back on the air at least for reruns).
High Incident has the best representation of American Police Patrol ever created for Television. The cast was what made it, showing the diversity of "types" of officers, and the truth of what really happens during a shift. Watch it for an explaination.
Best cop show ever, thanks for posting the vids!
