  • You don't know the law you bloody great tit head!

  • I don't know what the laws are in the UK but in the USA an individual does not have to provide any information to the police unless they are being arrested and charged with a crime. It is not a crime in and of itself to refuse to give your name (or any other personal info).

  • what a bitch

  • ohhhhh this is just brilliant, complete pig failure, how absolutly stupid she looks haha, she would have been better off arresting you and letting u go 5 mins later to save face LOL. good work matey!!

  • She doesn't half wobble her head around...

  • badges dont grant extra rights !

  • can we just go home?

  • I'd have just tazered you while you whined on lol

  • There a bunch of dum idiots, why do they want to prove that they have control over people the same as them, do they know how dum they look?

  • sick bassline

  • Completely pathetic pointless UK police action pt 45354223545678089864553242

  • ,manhater,...lol.trolololol

  • seems to me that the these days the british police don't actually know the law, they may know what sections there are but when you ask them the wording of that section or law they seem to go back to the old 'I know the law, give me your details or i'll arrest you' .......the british policing system is fucking terrable

  • continued... This means if he identifies me incorrectly and treats me horribly and I ask him for his name and number he does not have to give it, only if he arrests me? If he then knows I may pursue the situation he can make up an excuse to arrest me. I am dumbfounded by this. This is open to complete abuse and i bet it is abused if what you say is correct?

  • @TZ421 This is an awful situation then. I can have done nothing wrong whatsoever but an officer whom I have no knowledge of, can arrest me for not giving my name. You are then telling me that an officer of the law in England does not have to give me their name or number unless they are going to officially charge me? What happens if an officer approaches me and treats me (innocent), in an inappropriate way. You are saying that he does not have to give me his number unless he arrests me? cont

  • @brendanbutterworth

If they ask you your name, and you refuse to give it, there is a damn high chance that you are hiding something. Eirgo you deserve to be arrested. If you are innocent, then give your name so you can show that you are in the clear. If you are innocent and decide to be a pain in the ass and not give your name for the sake of not giving it, then you are immature and pathetic, and in my opinion, deserve to have your time wasted.

  • @TZ421 you clearly dont know the law so please dont make yourself looks stupid by commenting something like this ok ? its the amendments go read them and feel how stupid you are much love <3 mindless sheep not knowing how rotten this world is your the first to be stripped out of rights and put to chains and shoot to the back of your head so yeh. just trying to educate.

  • this is why some police have a bad name- not all of them are jobsworths like this idiot bitch

  • @jackmyers12

    Most of them are though.

  • Old nasty bull dykes

  • she's a wanna b cop

  • fake i told a copper to piss off the other day and he shit himself he was some stupid community officer i was driving in my car and he was stopping traffic for some reason i and i was in a hurry so told him to piss off and drove away he got owned lol

  • @shredmaster100 did you have a posh wank over that at home?

  • FUCKING SLUT

  • What's going on with all the head nodding? People do that when they've been found out and are on the back foot, right?

  • Never give your real name always give the name of a dear departed friend, never fails, they are just a bunch of morons a complete waste of space.

  • Show us your papers!

  • why would you not give your name? its a simple thing. I know people must have this effed up idea in their heads that theyre resisting something or exerting your rights. You can contest a stop and search, but your name? just showem your ID so they can shut up is all im saying! Im from Brasil, we'd never dream of NOT giving police our ID, we would get mouthed off just for not having it on us.

  • @jefersonvilaede Why should he? It's bully boy, or girl in this instance, tactics. Why doesn't she tell him her name and address? What has anything he's doing got to do with her, he hasn't committed any crime. She's there to uphold the law and protect the public, nothing more or less. Maybe the law in Brazil is different, I don't know, but here, she has no right.

  • @jefersonvilaede Why should anyone have to give there name? What do you think, we should all give up to these effing power hungry nazis. Get wise! If we don't stop these megalomaniacs, they will only increase their assaults upon us. It's time to take back our power and stop giving it away to these people. And by the way, they are doing nothing but mongering for ways to get money out of the public. Tickets, tickets, fines and more fines.

  • @iamrodneyy

Hey dumbass. If I report a man called john smith for comitting a crim, and say john smith has brown hair and a blue coat and he is in the park. And in the park there are five men with brown hair and blue coats, how are the police going to know which one to arrest? By asking them their names. What happens if dickhead refuses to give his name? He is probably guilty.

Thats why you should give your name when asked. You stupid mother fucker.

  • 'Is that a threat?' You stupid, stupid woman. Try catching some real criminals.

'I have the power....' nodding your head up and down........Just shut the fuck up, woman!

  • @zxychesatz349 This type of stuff will increase when the economy SHTF.

  • Can someone please tell me what year it is? I'm sure it isn't the 1940's and I'm certain we don't live in Nazi Germany.

  • @TZ421 I understand what you say. I came across some of these videos today by accident and got interested in them. I think two things, 1) If the man does not have to give his name by law, then he has done nothing wrong. It does not matter whether you or I think he should. 2) There are many other videos on here that I have just viewed where a police officer is filmed refusing to give his name or number.

  • @brendanbutterworth

1.) You can be arrested for not giving your name when asked by an officer, however the officer will not usually arrest you unless they believe you have done something wrong and need to know your identity. They wouldn't arrest you for the sake of arresting you due to the immense amount of paperwork that follows.

2.)An officer does not have to give their name or number unless they are making an official charge or arrest.

  • If you have nothing to hide why not just give your name? If you are innocent, nothing bad will happen to you?

  • @TZ421 Someone said that to the Guildford 4.

  • @TZ421 Tell that to the more than 250 inmates sentenced to life in prison in the U.S. that were later exonerated when the technology to use DNA evidence advanced to a state where it became useful in determining guilt or innocence - and showed that those people could not have committed the crime they were convicted of. And, that's just known cases - how many innocent people have been wrongfully convicted of crimes they didn't commit and DNA evidence in their case is unavailable?

  • @BloatedSensations

It's am imperfect system and mistakes will always be made, but

A.) You are talking about America, I'm talking about england. They have a worse legal system than us.

B.) What is more likely to get you in trouble if you are innocent? Being an uncomplient time wasting dick like the guy in this video, or giving your details and being honest?

  • @TZ421 "It's am imperfect system and mistakes will always be made" - You do understand that you've just contradicted yourself and admitted that your original statement was a load of bull, right?

  • @BloatedSensations

My original statement is that you should give your name when asked. Mistakes will always be made, that does not mean that you are above the law or don't have to abide by it.

And since you can't have a discussion without resorting to petty, childish, immature name calling I am now blocking you. Absolutely pathetic.

  • @TZ421 "My original statement is that you should give your name when asked. Mistakes will always be made, that does not mean that you are above the law or don't have to abide by it." Does the law require me to give my name and if not why should I deprive myself of the joy I get from refusing to bow before their authority?

  • @docdamag

Yes. It is written in legislation that a police officer is within their right to arrest and detain an individual who refuses to give their name when requested.

  • @TZ421 If so, they would have arrested him. Point to specific legislation.

  • @docdamag

They rarely will arrest you for it because of the insane amount of paperwork following the arrest. It's easier to try to convince people to comply. Unless they're certain you are guilty. Most of us a smart enough to tell the difference between a guilty criminal, and an argumentitive litle time waster like the guy in the video or yourself.

Question: If you will "never trust police" who will you call when your house gets robbed or your girlfriend gets raped? Ghostbusters?

  • @TZ421 are you a police officer ?

  • @TZ421 What could you possibly do about it?

  • @TZ421 The last time I got burgled I phoned the insurance company first to check my cover was in place. What are the police going to do? Recently my car was vandalised and the insurance co said it made no difference to them if I reported it to the police or not.

Most crime is of no interest to the Met. Londoners need to look after themselves. Get proper door and window locks on your property and rent a garage for your car.

  • @Andy19687

Yes that's common sense to take every measure to ensure the safety of your home and belongings. But if you report the crime, at least there is a chance of the person being caught and possibly not re-offending. By not reporting the crime and simply making sure your insurence checks out, you leave that person out there to offend against you or someone else again.

If you want the police to catch "real criminals" you need to be willing to report "real crimes"

  • @TZ421 (cont')... And, DNA evidence is available in only a minority of cases - the VAST majority of all felony cases completely lack any significant biological evidence. The number of 250 inmates exonerated through DNA also includes only prisoners sentenced to life in prison, or execution. For lesser sentences the number includes over 400 more people above and beyond that number. ...yeah... if you haven't done anything wrong, you've got nothing to worry about... suuuuuure.

  • @BloatedSensations

What your talking about is to do with courts and the legal system in America.

This video, and this discussion is about police officers, not courts and legal system. And its about the UK, not America.

Keep the discussion on topic or don't reply.

  • @TZ421 Oh, so, there's never been a case in the U.K. of someone doing jail time for a crime they didn't commit? It's known, beyond any doubt, that it happens in the U.S. system with alarming frequency, but the U.K. system is, by miracle, entirely free from it, right? And, you know this, how, exactly? Oh, and, uh... as long as the video poster leaves the comment section open to me, I'll reply when and how I please, you servile, mung-headed toad - I don't take orders from imbeciles.

  • @BloatedSensations It's even worse than you say here. 25% of the people cleared of crimes by the innocence project _confessed_ to the crime they were convicted of. So how many people have confessed to crimes they didn't commit where there is no DNA to clear them? My policy: never talk to the police. A lawyer is cheap compared to a felony conviction.

  • @TZ421 "why not just give your name?" Because frustrating their quest to make me submit to their authority gives me a happy.

  • Is that... russell howard?

  • Comment removed

  • @johnny771977 a couple of cops asking for ID is about as far from "absolute power corrupts absolutely" as you can get. They didn't ask for a bribe. They didn't threaten him with jail. Where's the corruption?

  • @mapache11 Sorry, my comment on corruption is based on extreme cases of police brutality and privacy breaches, as in the USA. The UK is ok for now

  • robotic like person or what !!

  • at the end of the day, police are humans and even if they are wrong... it always turns personal. Nobody wants to be proven wrong and look like an idiot.

  • If a person has nothing to hide, or has done nothing wrong, then they shouldn't have an issue in confirming who they are to a Police officer. Police officers are largely over-worked, why waste their time when you could just give your details, confirm you aren't up to anything dodgy, then all parties can go on their way.

  • @Northstander Why give you name when you are not obliged to do so. It's not the citizen wasting time, it's the officer. If they had a good reason they would just arrest you straight away rather than arsing around trying to get your name out of you.

  • @remixnick If I have nothing to hide from the Police, which I don't, then I see no reason not to comply with what seems like a reasonable request. This is regardless of whether I am obliged to or not. The Police may have a good reason for asking me my name, for reasons completely unknown to me, if only to rule me out of an enquiry as my appearance is similar to someone they are looking for. Just hearing my voice may be enough to do that.

  • @Northstander May be I wouldn't comply because I don't like the tone of an officer. May be I want to know why I am being asked for my name surely they can give me a minimal reason as opposed to me just 100% complying because it's 'THE POLICE'. Some PC's like to throw their weight around, and do not have just reasons for their actions. When I encounter police like that they will not have a complacent citizen on their hands.

  • @remixnick She was on a power trip - If I do not comply, I could end up licking her boots in prison, after they have made up various charges: resisting arrest, disrupting an officer on duty, use of offensive language, assaulting an officer on duty, public disorder, an affray, withholding vital information, etc

This police problem is likely to increase due to the current economic climate.

  • @remixnick It would be a pleasure to comply if the female police officer was a bit sexy, in high heels, tight skirt, smug top, glasses, handcuffs, whips etc - then I would enjoy the commanding tone of her voice. I would probably be delighted to lick her boots in prison, lol

  • @Northstander Some police are good, but some try to fix you up in order to make a quick arrest "on suspicion or allegations of" "attempted" crime.

  • @Northstander Or, the police could reduce their workload by not bailing up random strangers and demanding information. It's up to the police to confirm that I'm up to something dodgy if that's what they believe is the case; if they can't they should just leave me be to go about my legitimate business.

  • @docdamag

It's not random strangers, you need to think about the whole situation.

If someone reports a crime and says "the person had dark hair, a blue jacket, I know his name is james and he is in the park on main street" It is perfectly logical for the police to ask a man fitting that description in that park what his name is.

I got searched by the police in town. I didn't complain, someone matching my description has been shoplifting, what else were they supposed to do? Trust me?

  • @TZ421 If so, cops can simply invent a report and bail random strangers up on the basis of that "report" what am I supposed to do? trust them? (never happen)

  • My god this women is a psycho lol

  • That Cop has so much inner rage she looks like she's gonna puke

  • what's wrong with her head?

  • i wish the girl would shut up sayin can we please just go home and let the man speak

  • Community Support Officer's can't arrest anyone, total waste of public money, wankers

  • @notdrivingaminimetro they have the power to detain you for a limted time i would not say it was a wast of money

  • @1XxHawk666xX1 I'm not sure what a wast is but it's probably a complete waste of that too

  • @notdrivingaminimetro i agree the money spent on them they should have more powers

  • Silly woman

  • This is just bad light for the police.. grr

  • Amazing how she says she can arrest you for not giving details. She lying because she knows most people dont know there rights!!

  • @Abuzwebstar you can be arrested for not giving details, everything that this woman says is correct, police officers can arrest without warrant anyone as she says the suspect of have done, are or are going to commit an offence, and detain them in order to gain details or if they think false details have been given, the discretion belongs to the officer on all these counts, unfortunatly in her citing of the law she doesnt mention she is a c.s.o and therefore has no power..what a dope

  • this is amazing, made my day 2!

  • Bobble Head.

  • She can finger all the women she wants. That's perfectly fine.

The issue I have is that she's clearly a cunt.

  • @ivbeenviolated your have made my day.

  • 74stigma could not say that any better. I would sue the ass off of her if she arrested me..

  • she has no power of arrest unless you are engaging in criminal activity, refuse to give details and let her arrest you, then get a solicitor to put in for a counter charge of assualt and unlawful imprisonment against her,

  • Like a fucking boss..

  • if you have nothing to hide then why be a dick and cause a problem that could have bin sorted in seconds?

  • frustrated rug munchers these days...tut,tut.

  • "I HAVE THE POWER!"

Unbelievable I know, but the one talking shit was a police officer! Her assistant was a community support officer. You do'nt have to give your name or show I.D. to any police officer.

She was on one ALMIGHTY power trip!

  • They are not even police! they are support officers, who cannot arrest anyone!

  • i thought the policewoman was under arrest at first 'cos she looked off her face

  • i have the power , i thought he man was a bloke?? lezzo...

  • It's a bobblehead with a voice.

  • Shame bitch

  • THAT GUY OWNED THAT OFFICER HARD!! GOOD 1 M8/

  • Look at her attitude as she explains her position. What's that head bobbing all about, haha!

  • HAHAHAHHA FUCK THE POLICE!

  • It's about time police officer start sticking to the laws of the land as much as they dislike this arrangment, it's only fair. We are all equals and should be treated as so.

  • You also had freedom to film the situation, she can ask but you don't have to comply as filming in a public place isn't against any law unless it is towards young children.

  • @Mattthemiller1571

There are no such laws regarding children. If its a public space you can film whatever you want. Child are recorded on CCTV all the time.

  • @NefariousVirtuoso88 I was always of the understanding that your had to recieve permission to film young children. Guess i was wrong cheers.

  • She made a mockery of herself!

  • that "thing" does a very good...PEGION

  • holy fuck shes does a good "WOODY THE WOOD PECKER!" impression LMAO

  • next time they want anything from you ie search or ur info make them take u to the station and waste aa much time as possible, remember there budgets have been slashed, it wont be long till they cant arrest for such bullshit, well done>> now watch my channel

  • I'm confused, she said she is arresting him for not giving his details, he still refused to give his details but she took no action anyway... someone please explain?

  • @mrmartinmartin

shes talking shit and he called her bluff

  • @NefariousVirtuoso88 so the Police cannot demand your details?

  • @mrmartinmartin

If you have committed no crime you're under no obligation to even talk to them never mind give them ID.

  • @NefariousVirtuoso88 cheers bud.

  • div bitch get back to tescos...

  • dyke

  • Keep it up! Look at her face right at the end. No powers what so ever!

  • No power, they have none, all smoke and mirrors.

    It's changing though, and fast.

  • Global non compliance, what a beautiful thing.

  • plastic police! what absolute piglet robots

  • she doesn't have any power what so ever as she doesn't have full uniform on :D

  • @danwuk Actually you're wrong. She's a police officer not a PCSO so she does have most of her powers out of uniform.the only thing she can't do out of uniform really is stop/direct trafiic. But common sense should prevail there as it would be obvious that no one would know she's a copper out of uniform..sorry to put out your flame bud;)

  • @Squiddy200

PCSO's don't have power regaudless if in uniform or not they just have an airwave and if the police cut corners in their jobs then they abuse the power, i'm a teenage male and i get Harrased by police due to my age i gave an officer my medical ID which shows my job and they left me alone without doing any checks as i didn't mach the "stereotype" so if they're not in uniform they aren't doing their job and getting fuck all off people!

  • He has the right to knock her ass out!

  • let me guess lesbian?

  • I have the power of Greyskull - ooooooooo no I dont, all I have the power to do is shake my head sooooo funneeeee and the "is that a threat" is just too surreal

  • no you cant just go home

  • A female pc tried to arrest me in Great Yarmouth earlier this year even though I had proof that I was not at the scene of the crime talk about an ego maniac. Some members of Norfolk police are so bent it is amazing.

  • she looks like a "special" constable lol

  • That Police Officer clearly thinks she is above everyone.

  • Look at the power she is feeling from holding that little notebook and pen!

  • 1:08 she knows she just got sat down..

  • shes got powers what are u a jedi.

  • no she does not have any power to arrest anyone unless they do something roung , she is abusing the power that she hasent got there 4 sue her

  • shes so stupid, she told him the law and styll believed him lmao....ignorant cops.

    gud shyt bro.

  • is officer on on the left giving someone a imaginary blowjob?

  • @1iamai1 Fat chance of that. She's clearly a lesbo!

  • All you had to say is "Rice V Connolly look it up i have the right not to answer any questions or give my details unless you arrest me if do arrest me it has to be based on reasonable suspicion (she missed out that part on purpose) the reasonable suspicion must be based on facts or evidence not instinct bye."

  • Why did you turn your camera off when she asked ? You should of challenged that too seeing as its not against the law, cops are just like us, there just there to enforce the law, but on many occasions they seem to think there some super human just because there in uniform

  • Well done,,, stupid trigger happy copper looked like a real fool... happy now....

  • fuckin pigs

  • Typical "Shitty Attitude Dyke Who Has Some Semblance Of Power And Self Importance" ....'Angry Sex' for her that night I would imagine.... I pity her submissive, less-than-weak 'girlfriend' - Bet she woke up with a sore Arse..!!!!

  • nice one called her bluff

  • shes on a power trip!!! Danger blindly obaying support officer!!!

  • KILL ALL GAYS

  • These are PCSOs, not professional cops.

  • I just thought she was hyperventilating from trying to remember the speech she was giving. Poor girl. Hope she's okay.

How did you keep from laughing?

  • shes got torrettes syndrome, hold your head still you silly bitch

  • Is this in Gloucester near the skate park?

  • HAHAHAHAHA POWER HUNGRY LEZBO COPPER FAIL!!

best bit is her face when you told her all that stuff!!

  • Don't know what the cause of the stopping of the bloke is here but the officer is an arse.

  • What is going on with her head? Hahaha.

  • fair point darrenov

  • Hat of to this man, my grandfather fought for our freedom, you make me proud. The police must obey the law too.

  • well done....and the woman that was filming didnt help you at all lol

  • one on the left is pissed.

  • I love it! More people need to know their rights and exercise them to the fullest. Face the facts. This kind of harrassment is happening more frequently than not. END IT NOW!

  • Well Done!

  • You don't HAVE a name. In a common law country you can use as many names as you like.

Remember hearing about criminals with a list of "also-known-as" names? No charge as it can't be a crime.

If your parents registered your birth, you have USE of a Legal Name, owned by the Crown corporation of the City of London.

It is Crown copyright. See your certificate "not for use as ID" !

The Crown/police/gov't ONLY have power over that name but need YOU to ID yourself as it.
