I just wish the video was uploaded at normal speed. This is obviously being fast forwarded through most, and only slowed down in parts, as it is not possible to move the yoyo through air that fast, and his movements are very jerky too (another symptom of being fast forwarded).

Really, it is sped up. You can look at his other videos and parts are the same speed, but parts you can tell are obviously sped up in this one. I am a yo-yoer myself. Also, this is an old video, and the original uploader years ago admitted he sped up parts of it for effect. I don't know why I can't post the link, but look up "Professional YO-YO". It is this same guy doing the same tricks, but at regular speed throughout.

@dacypher22 Actually, my comment was correct. Very correct indeed. First of all, listen to the background music. That is the music at the place he's performing. It wasn't added in to the video. So, If this video was sped up in parts, and slowed down in parts, how does the music sound the same throughout? Oh, and, the jerky quality thing, It's because youtube video quality sucks. And it is very possible to move a yo-yo at that speed. Maybe you just suck at it.

The gloves make the grinds much easier...the yoyo he uses isnt exactly made for grinding but it can be done with the gloves. It also could help with string burn...but morely for the grinding.
