It's actually an F-15E with Pixy's aircraft's color scheme.

In Ace Combat Zero, Pixy flew an F-15C.

Holy Shit i did not notice that spotting specific planes in a huge group is hard but i managed to find the red winged F-15 eagle next to a standard F-15 eagle. by the way i think those are the normal F-15 eagles not the strike eagles.

They are both F-15Es, the E variant has a widebody (clearly visible at 1:01), A to D variants have narrow bodies. Although it is really unlikely to have a F-15E on a air/air sortie, because of the higher weight of the aircraft.

I concur. According to wikipedia, the F-15E has had very, very limited success in air-to-air combat. However, it makes up for this shortcoming by being a very effective attack aircraft.

For Ace Combat 6, the main good guys are Garuda 1 (Talisman) and Garuda 2 (Shamrock). What you see in this video are downloadable SP versions of this game's F-15Es -- Cipher and Pixy's aircraft.

I do agree with you on the rather interesting storylines and voice-acting which the Ace Combat series is very much known for.

I was just showing the contrast between the latest installments. Galm team are mercs in it for the money, while I get the impression that Garuda are enrolled pilots of the national air force. Also I like the ring of Demon Lord a lot better than a Golden King :P

Whoa, that's awesome! I always liked the Pixy and Cipher F-15s from AC0, they look even better in AC6! Schnee Squadron F-14s would be awesome too, but there's been so many great paintjobs in the Ace Combat series it's hard to choose a favourite =P
