I WANT THE KINDLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But it is WAY to expensive. If you can find a kindle that is cheaper, or you see that the price has dropped, please inform me. Thank you!
The kinddle needs more media ensured to go along with it. I mean the same resource of information can be acquired on a laptop. It looks like a good idea, however the investment might not have a wide and in depth resource to aquire through.
Agreed. And future versions of the Kindle will probably deal with this. However, right now the Kindle does a better job than any laptop when it comes to reading digital information: the screen doesn't hurt your eyes even after a long while; the size of the Kindle is similar to a book's and it's just simpler to use and carry around. If you just want to read - and still have wireless integration with other devices - I say you should still buy the Kindle. It's just "the right tool for the job".
When you buy the Amazon Kindle reader you have Mobipocket Support, which enables you to access MUCH more content. Also, I personally find the way content is displayed on screen much easier to understand in the Kindle.
Yes, excellent if you want to use the Mobipocket. If you, however, want to be free to use any source you find available and of use, you are in a bind.
Make it less than $100, and i will buy one.

Thank you for your question.
Yes, the Amazon Kindle reader's screen does display images. Pictures, nonetheless, are still displayed in black and white at the moment.
