i can't say i know all about rap history but atleast, i know this subculture evolved from the oppresion of black ppl back in the days intimes of slavery and it was a means of expresion. well, in the 70's and 90's, rap/ hip hop was very poetic. but right now, it's all about buisiness and making money, cumon, u tell me, chicken noddle soup... two step... pop lock and drop it...lean with it rock with it... cumon man! and that's what it's all turned into. now u see where i'm coming from?
