Nacho is good but he's mostly known for his Ralph Lauren campaigns.

Actually Argentina has better polo players like Adolfito Cambiaso or Facundo Pieres. Nacho is just an average player among them.

I just think it's great that he's making the effort to make polo be a more known sport.

@MLArgentina And let us not forget the Heguy brothers, the Novillo Astrada brothers or the great Juan Martin Nero, all Argentine and all of them far better players than Nacho. Still, I agree his efforts are paying off, at least in the States and he makes a superb Argentine representative and spokesperson for Ralph Lauren.

Totally... there are a big group of excellent polo players. Just the final of Palermo Open is the top exponent of this. An incredible final with incredible players... so exciting to see.

@MLArgentina Yeah, first 80-goal final at Palermo ever. Winning Palermo is like being world champion. It was not a good match, though (mainly due to Cambiaso's infuriating complains) and referees had a HUGE influence in the outcome. Ellerstina should have won...the last foul against Aguerre (which led to the extra chukker) was non-existent!!! Not to mention the way Cambiaso "accidentally" fell when Facundo Pieres was headed straight to score the goal which would have given Z la Triple Corona.

@HerBitchness Even if you right, and that is debatable, none of those players are as handsome and famous as Nacho. No to mention none of them promote polo the way Nacho does. So they are correct. Nacho is the premiere polo player, and all of those things make him the premiere polo player. It's about more than just being great, and he is indeed a great polo player.

@HTHAMMACK1 While I agree that no one can't argue about handsomeness Facundo Pieres and Adolfo Cambiasso are two polo gods, way better players than Nacho. The fact that you don't know them doesn't make them unknown. I've seen them both play and I guarantee you they are unbelievable! I know of Nacho's great way of promoting polo and that makes him a premiere polo player and a good ambassador of the game. I also know he uses polo to help many charity associations and that is GREAT too.
