I say cancel tower 2, then build another 1WTC without the antennae. Revamping the design doesn't look too bad, just like they rebuilt many buildings in Berlin after WWII, but look similar.

It annoys me how people say the Twin Towers had poor design qualities. Sure, they weren't as detailed as some skyscrapers (Chrysler Building, Woolworth Building), but the fact that they had 2 major buildings is really amazing.

I think it would be an insult to the memories of those who died in my opinion. There will never be a replacement of the twin towers. History was made that day and to rebuild them is to act like it never happened. Not to mention, another target. Not to mention, the fear of working in those buildings. We want the Twin Towers back. This is a great video. They are rebuilding the towers. There's going to be four towers and i saw what they going to look like. Freedom tower is almost finished. I think next year or the following year the first tower will be open. They said about 2016 or 18 all four towers will be standing. I'm glad they rebuilding it. I was upset when they hit it. @pazuzu567 Unfortunately, no they are not building 4 towers. I believe, after reading on their website that they're only building freedom tower. What is known though is that the freedom tower will have increased columns to support the structure, it will be a bit taller than the original towers and that the super antenna that will be on top of freedom tower will be 10x more powerful than the original, other than that they're going to build a park, memorial, and a museum. @pazuzu567 That's not entirely true. The Freedom Tower is about 1/5 complete. WTC 4 hasn't broken street level yet. WTC 2 and 3 haven't even started- and they're not going to begin construction for the forseeable future.

i have been to new york many many times but only after what happened that faithful tuesday morning. I t is a city that took my heart away with everything about it. Its spirit, its people, its sights and sounds, its stories and more than that its courage and strenght to turn one of the most darkest days in history into a powerful and moving spirits and the people of new York should hold there heads very high and be proud of their city.
What a piece, turn on Rhapsody in Blue, kick back with a photo book showing old New York city in the 30's, and you have certainly stepped back in to an incredable era! One in which we will never experience again, and a time with such dynamisim and innocence as well! This one beutiful compostion. My father was a Jazz musician, he also turned me on to a piece by Gordon Jenkins called "Manhattan towers", another great arangement from the mid 30's. I love this post, thanks!
Rebuilt the two of the world's favourite buildings. @SeeeTubeee I liked all three skyscrapers. the two twin towers in NYC and the Sears Tower in Chicago. I've never been inside the twin towers. I've only visited the ground zero site in the summer of 2005 and i've visited the observation deck of the sears tower in the summer of 2004. that was cool. i would have liked to see the world trade center towers but unfortunately i can't now. that sucks.

As many people have come to realise the so called twin towers actually never existed! they are absent in many photos of NY skyline prior to 2001, and I myself visited NY in´-84 and I can´t recall seeing them.
i hope they demolish the freedom tower foundation before it's too late, that building will symbolize everything 9/11 was supposed to do to the u.s.a, i live in denver, and i was 8 when 9/11 happened, but when i look at videos at them, i wish i could go and work there and make that a foundation of my life. Technically the FT isnt supposed to be done until 2014 ish.With all the corruption and fighting going on there the whole site will probably be stalled even more,.Which is good because starting soon the designer of the Twin Towers II and the Twin Towers Alliance are going to start some things that will ultimately win back our Twin Towers!

Donald Trump and company should buy some old buildings somewhere on the island. Level them and build the twin towers back! Let them have their freedom tower. BUt build the twin towers too. It says, hey, we built the towers back plus another tall building, with a great name. so take that. They had one thing right about the freedom tower. The height. I would've rebuilt the twin towers, but them time at 1776 feet! Take that!

If I had ONE WISH, JUST ONE... I would wish all the lives lost, to NOT be lost, and the bulidings NEVER been crash. My mother said it's been the SCARIEST DAY IN HER LIFE. I would've been scared too, if I was awake and older then like, 2 or 4..

It looked nice when they were going to be four. But i heard no the news yesterday when they were talking about 911 memorial, they said the freedom tower will be ready next year and the other towers will be open in a couple of years. But that's what you saw on the website then there's only one. But i heard differently on the news. But One is enough.

This is a great video. They are rebuilding the towers. There's going to be four towers and i saw what they going to look like. Freedom tower is almost finished. I think next year or the following year the first tower will be open. They said about 2016 or 18 all four towers will be standing. I'm glad they rebuilding it. I was upset when they hit it. Hope they don't attack this one

@pazuzu567 Unfortunately, no they are not building 4 towers. I believe, after reading on their website that they're only building freedom tower. What is known though is that the freedom tower will have increased columns to support the structure, it will be a bit taller than the original towers and that the super antenna that will be on top of freedom tower will be 10x more powerful than the original, other than that they're going to build a park, memorial, and a museum. Any questions, ask me. :)

@pazuzu567 That's not entirely true. The Freedom Tower is about 1/5 complete. WTC 4 hasn't broken street level yet. WTC 2 and 3 haven't even started- and they're not going to begin construction for the forseeable future.

i have been to new york many many times but only after what happened that faithful tuesday morning. I t is a city that took my heart away with everything about it. Its spirit, its people, its sights and sounds, its stories and more than that its courage and strenght to turn one of the most darkest days in history into a powerful and moving spirits and the people of new York should hold there heads very high and be proud of their city.

What a piece, turn on Rhapsody in Blue, kick back with a photo book showing old New York city in the 30's, and you have certainly stepped back in to an incredable era! One in which we will never experience again, and a time with such dynamisim and innocence as well! This one beutiful compostion. My father was a Jazz musician, he also turned me on to a piece by Gordon Jenkins called "Manhattan towers", another great arangement from the mid 30's. I love this post, thanks!

Rebuilt the two of the world's favourite buildings. What annoys me is that Bush knew what was going to happen and he didn't do anything about it and a other romour is that HE was the ONE who ORDERED them people to ATTACK America and the HE covered it up now if thats not a sick and cruel thing to do and kill all them innocent people I don't know what is. I LOVE the Americans but I hate him for what he did to the poor innocent lives of America. God bless America :)

I drove a Semi over the George Washington Bridge at 10:00 PM.
New York is Spectacular at night.
The Twin Towers are the Best Symbol New York will ever have.
The Two 110 Story Towers made them Very Interesting.
I miss them - I will never actually see them.

@SeeeTubeee I liked all three skyscrapers. the two twin towers in NYC and the Sears Tower in Chicago. I've never been inside the twin towers. I've only visited the ground zero site in the summer of 2005 and i've visited the observation deck of the sears tower in the summer of 2004. that was cool. i would have liked to see the world trade center towers but unfortunately i can't now. that sucks.

@Rhexx18 I think New York City's better off with only the twin towers than the freedom tower in my opinion. New York City was much more gorgeous the way it was WITH the twin towers. I still think we should just scrap the freedom tower and rebuild only the twin towers because it's the only symbol of Manhattan, NY which is the main place of new york city. So I believe the twin towers should just be rebuilt anyway : P So what do you think, like I think I know what you might say next. No trouble.

@conachlmrs09 The Twin towers or the freedom tower? Because if it was the freedom tower, it's gonna get fucked up real soon. And if it was the twin towers, they're gonna be embraced and charmed by all 9/11 families and New Yorkers when they're built the second time after the freedom tower gets scrapped. Which BTW, the freedom tower's gonna get scrapped one day, we don't know when, but we know it's not gonna arrive.

As many people have come to realise the so called twin towers actually never existed! they are absent in many photos of NY skyline prior to 2001, and I myself visited NY in´-84 and I can´t recall seeing them.

i hope they demolish the freedom tower foundation before it's too late, that building will symbolize everything 9/11 was supposed to do to the u.s.a, i live in denver, and i was 8 when 9/11 happened, but when i look at videos at them, i wish i could go and work there and make that a foundation of my life. Technically the FT isnt supposed to be done until 2014 ish.With all the corruption and fighting going on there the whole site will probably be stalled even more,.Which is good because starting soon the designer of the Twin Towers II and the Twin Towers Alliance are going to start some things that will ultimately win back our Twin Towers!
