  • Hey guys,

Love your car...what's not to love. My partner bought a '91 Chrysler 5th Avenue a few years ago for a song with only 29,000 miles! Runs great and fully loaded gets 28 MPG on the open road. Load leveling shocks keep the ass up and are original. Love the console and wood in your Mark! Looks like it just came out of the factory!

  • It has been a long time my friends but would like to connect again.I have the '67 Continental I bought from Dallas and we love our Lincolns!

  • Bet it looks even better in person. I used to detail on the side for extra cash in those days-I was 18-and I drove all cars including a Drs. Mercedes and it was nice but not a Mark V. The 76-78 Eldorados were tight too. I would have to buy both cause the eldo in 76 came in a convertible.I read somewhere on a different page where a guy was telling a teenager of today that cars then were not as quiet as they are today. I never rode in a more quiet car than the Lincolns and Caddies of those days.

  • Are you guys from Dallas? I think we may have talked before! I have the 1967 Continental in the LCOC I cruise during pride. She going to be repainted and I would love for you guys to see her when she is done

  • I own a 1984 lincoln town car signature series and these two cars were top of the line back then, I love them

  • Spectacular your Mark V

  • My personal opinion is a Lincoln Mark series from any year looks best in white.

  • @365degrees yes i agree. the mark v looks best white and the towncar looks best black

  • Awesone car ;)

Those old Lincoln Continentals had an cool style and that bad ass look that I like so much.

BTW: Those radiator grill always reminds me of a Roman or Greek temple from the ancient world ;)

  • my grandpa has a 78 mark V and it has 28,987 miles. he inherited it from his brother in 1980 and parked it and just did regular maintnence throughout the years. its in prestine condition

  • @loolwow he sellling?

  • @KingofComputing haha noo way he loves that car more than our family lol

  • I think I would kill to have a car like that O_O

  • Looking at a blue Collectors tomorrow...very cheap and tired and in need of saving...might put her on a truck and take her to Texas..YEEHAA

  • i got a friend who owns a mark III and a mark V the mark 5 has the 400ci and the other one has the 460ci. they both go well

  • I remember taking a test drive in a dark blue one like this. I was so partial to the oval opera window, I decided to buy a Givenchy instead.

  • I love the Mark V. Maybe one day I will get one.

  • I have a blue one that is just a blast to have. The sunroof is absolutely gigantic and the blue interior adds to the car's 70's feel. Its great because when you drive it you feel like your sitting in a lazyboy reclining chair. Its just that comfortable.

  • sweet car. my dad jus got one!!!!! its definetly a pimp mobile!!

  • She looks so clean!! Great job!!

  • wow sweet car!!!GOT A RUBY RED WITH SCALLOPS AN METAL-FLAKE 79 AN A 70 MRK III LOVE THEM LINCS.

  • I like your designer car. Recognized the buildings in Dallas, use to live there. When I was a kid, I dreamed of having a car like this one.

  • i have a lincoln mark v 400 block engine every thing original any body wants to buy it post a comment

  • i have a lincoln 79 mark v 400 block engine every thing original any body wants to buy it post a comment

  • The white is one of the more rare Collectors Edition Mark V's. Remember these were only made for one year in 1979. There were only 2040 painted in white I believe. I have one exactly identical in a similar condition, it's a great car that gets lots of attention.

  • that's city hall in downtown dallas. i know my city. everythings bigger in texas.

  • man, this is a beautiful car.i've always loved the mark-five.this car needs nothing.i'm sure it was garaged kept since new.

  • Looks great man! I've got a 1978 Emilo Pucci Edition but sadly it's not as clean and rust free as your 79. Long live the big Lincolns!

  • NOW THATS WHAT I CALL A CAR PEOPLE and today they just dont seem to get the respect they deserve i have a 78 cadillac deville and i know what its alabout! oh yea

  • are there still a lot of those cars in the usa? it seems like they would often stand in wide fields and going broken... are there many collectors of old cars?

  • We had these when they were new...still a classy car. Gotta love the LONG hoods...and underneath..no extra room for anything.

  • Good looking car;-)

  • Oh my Gosh I have always totally loved those cars!!!! So Elegant! This one is absolutely beautiful! I wanna ride!!
