what's the 1st piano solo you played here? I can sorta play it on my clavinova by ear; but not exactly. Do you have the sheet music for the 1st piano solo? thanks!
@jenayen yeah i have a studio. I havent posted any videos since ive changed it. i do audio engineering most of the time and my piano stuff is on the side
I mean, when you record music with Clavinova, is it like recording in a studio? like, you don't need any real instruments because Clavinova covers them all ?
and you are VERY talented! Good luck with your job ! and I really hope you show us your music pieces.
@jenayen. oh gotcha yeah if you are starting out on composing this has just about every tool you need to complete orchestration. if you serious about making your music sound very professional i would suggest using software like east west quantum leap. they have very articulate string and orchestration sound that the clav doesnt have. i usually start writing on the clav then do my final composition on east west using my pro tools rig.. hope that answers your question and thanks
What's up man..damn...I like your drum playin on that shiznit...I think you got me beat by a bit on that...I was pissed when I heard it lol....anyway, nice goin and check out a few of my songs I made on my clavinova
wow i kinda wrote that tune by mistake but have had a lot of comments on it so it shows me how i should write my music. I love doing just instrumental. I have written full orchestra pieces on my piano. I just dont want to post anything until i get everything copywrited. I know it sounds too paranoid for me to do that but i have been told by a lot of musicians to copywrite everything before posting it. so when i get that done ill post that full song and a lot more with full orchestra behind it.
thanks a lot. im going to school for audio engineering in a couple weeks so when im done with that im gonna get right to making my album. im just debating if i want to do instrumental album or include words. from an outside view would you like just a instrumental CD based on what you have already heard. thanks
I've personally always been an instrumental fan. Hell, working with instrumental might land you a job doing soundtracks and studio work. Seeing as the main focus would be piano, I would only see singing getting in the way of me hearing the piano. However, you don't see many famous instrumental artists out there. I listen to that little piano part at least once a day every day -_-
thanks for replying, i also need to know, do yamaha clavinova sound the same at any model? for example, in compariswon what youvegot cvp 403 and a CLP 122s, does it sound the same from the standard piano sound ?
no they do not.the newer models have new technology which really bring out the sound a lot better.I like the sound and feel of my piano better than most acoustics now.plus newer models give you ability to change reverb and such like that.check out my video that says clavinova advanced features and see for yourself.I also have a CVP 90,which is old and ive had it for a long time and my 405 blows that away.but i still use my 90 because a clavinova is a clavinova and they are the cadillac of pianos
That piano song/solo u played in the beginning was so awesome. I wish i could play that good. Lol plus since most of this stuff was created by u it jsut adds onto the awesomeness
lol, thanks. i love playing and these digital pianos are so great for messing around with different styles. if your a song writer its a great tool to have in a studio.
True, the clavinova looks like a very useful tool for me because i like to creat music as well as play it. It mus be expensive though because the music settings are alot more realistic on this piano then most of the other ones ive seen.
it is actually an interlude to one of my songs. so in the song you only hear that one part, one time. im planning on doing another video soon about more advanced features on the clavinova and i think ill bring that song back since a lot of people have commented on it. I should just use youtube to help sell CDs. I'm currently working on my album and im hoping to have everything done by March or April next year..
Hi there. The music that you played in the first 1.30 mins is fantastic..which song is that.its a wow. i have been playing the piano since 1 year only. guess i have a long way to go to play that good.
thanks i appreciate it and yes all of those songs were mine except apologize. that video is only a fraction of what these pianos can do. very worth the money
i usually choose the 12 string guitar and its kinda hard to make a good strumming sound, but you basically have to roll your hand back and forth. if you think about it thats all guitar players do. just go back and forth on the same strings. so i just try to imitate that and it usually works out :)
can you please share with us the 1st solo you played ? please

@findog7471
I was about to ask the same question !
you could be the Next Yanni if you keep on composing and making your own music like this!
I will get this piano very very soon so I can finally record my composing, but mine is nothing comparing to yours ! and I don't read music either!
it is like you have your own studio right?
and thanks for posting this video!

how did you get the notes to slur on the guitar? It made a nice transitional slide sound...nyyyyyce!

all you do is hold down one note and then press the note you want to slur hard. and the fret movements is by your pedal.

the first song you played on it sounds really nice. i hear it every day xDD ... is it a song from a other person or did you composed it by your self.
