@lin2log BTW, I never bashed FCPX and it's sync ability. Merely mentioned that there are some minor issues with it here and there. I love FCPX, because, like with Sony Vegas, I can practically do everything from within one app. I am able to use PE in FCP7 without leaving the application, but FCPX's new code currently doesn't let PE do this in FCPX. If syncing in FCPX works for you or anyone else, they don't need this app. But some still have issues currently in FCPX.
Have ever tried Plural Eyes? It has rave reviews from tons of people using it. Congrats if FCPX's sync feature has worked well for you. FCPX has been a bit more hit or miss for me.
I'm trained in FCPX and it has some known sync issues with more complex edits, say 1-2 audio sources, 3-4+ cameras. Look on Apples own boards.
MultiCam and PE isn't pointless. PE can create a mc clip from the synced audio/video. But, as FCPX doesn't support multi camera editing.
@solo643 FYI, some people do use FCPX. I'm a full-time professional video editor (though you can't quite tell from my YouTube page, haven't updated it in a long time, LOL!) and I use FCPX almost exclusively. It's not perfect, but it's got some really nice features. And amazing performance!
@lin2log it's seems that u don't work in this industry at all.You can't say that FC X it's a professional video editor:)just because Apple say that this is revolutionary:) No wonder they give money back :)
None. It's in fact a complete waste of time. Other than for the multi-cam (which is assuming you in fact have idiots as camera-men that are constantly start/stopping the camera like those in the example), I see no reason why one would actually spend money for the exact same functionality you already have *for free*.

Because, as your comment illustrates perfectly, only clueless morons haven't made the switch yet.

BTW, love the fact this finally came out. Love Plural Eyes in FCP7 and have been waiting for Plural Eyes for FCPX. Definitely going to give it a try.

I guarantee that Plural Eyes will give you a more accurate sync than FCPX at this stage.

For dual system audio like shown in the first example what is the advantage of using Plural Eyes over the built in audio sync of Final Cut Pro X?
