@stryker1121 I know it is 6 months since you asked, but yes, this is very much typical for a Japanese crowd. It is very rare to hear them cheer for anything. It was the same for MMA, in Pride you had no sound then a round of applause for a nice submission move or even a guard pass. The fans are very appreciative of good technical wrestling.
