it's just random harmonics. trill the g and or d strings and run your picking hand lightly up and down the strings to set off the harmonics. it's a simple trick that sounds really cool. same thing eddie does after the solo to somebody get me a dr

pick harmonics (artificial harmonics). you kind of lightly catch the string you're picking with you picking thumb. Eddie does this alot.

What the music store was probably talking about was the EVH Frankenstein Replica, which is obviously a replica of his Frankenstrat. They go for something like $20,000.
