@rdrd4544 I so agree with you. When I used to live in Philly, I would never watch Channel 6. I loved watching the down to earth personalities on those on Channel 3 and 10. Those on Channel 6 seemed to let their ratings go to their heads.

I've always been an avid follower of Action News, but I swear every single time I've ever even tried to watch Larry Mendte he just seemed like the biggest idiot on the planet. No matter how he tried to make himself look smarter he just came across as a complete imbecile, asking just the most moronic questions of the other reporters and the like. It's hard to believe Dawn Stensland would stick with such a lowlife like him. He deserves to go away for the max.

I've seen Larry Mente 3 times in my life. Once was in the Flanders Hotel in Ocean City, NJ in an elevator with his wife, 2nd walking around The Gallery in Philly (most likely covering the story of some dude who fell on the tracks and died), and 3rd he came to the mall I worked at at the time, for who knows what reason, I think it is a very strange occurrence as I've never seen any other celebrity, ever on the street or in public, I think I have a spiritual link with one Larry Mente

charging someone or being charged with a crime does not make them a criminal. Until conviction he is still innocent until proven guilty. the maximum sentence he can be sentenced under carries a 0-6 month jail sentence. It is very unlikely he will be convicted as he has cooperated with authorities.

I didn't mean to paint Rose Tibayan with the same brush as Larry Mendte and Alycia Lane.

Ms. Tibayan was let go by Channel 6 for writing a book for journalism students, not for misconduct such as was attributed to Mr. Mentde and Ms. Lane.

I also feel that Ms. Tibayan was treated unfairly by WPVI.

All I meant to say that Ms. Tibayan wasn't with WPVI for decades as is the case with many of their on-air talent.
