Sento la gioia was actually from Amadigi originally written for the Castrato Nicolini:) love the singing Bejan, particularly the ornaments and da capo! great stuff:)

I order CD yesterday !! It is amazing recording I must say...and CD comes with DVD - what a treat eh? Sento la gioia was repeating in my head for about a week since I have found this video....I had to get the CD, could not stand being teased with only one slice of pie...."whole" is the word...ladies and gents.  (too bad I could not get the CD for the new years day, initially wanted to start the year with this piece.)

FINALLY!! Bejun Mehta gets his solo CD at last. It's been a long time coming. And to have René Jacobs conducting, well that's just perfect. This is one of the best promotional videos I've ever seen. Thoroughly fun and unpretentious, letting us see the different steps of actually creating this gorgeous sound.
