Devin had sucha good spring, but no playin time. Is Eason, Bolden and Davis that much better? Even last year he got to touch the ball a few times. The last game the coach even let a freshman handle the ball. it seems like they pass devin over and over. what is your take? I watched him in high school and on any play, you felt like it could be a touchdown and a lot of times it was. He is a big play player. seems to me they could play him a litlle more, i hate to see such talent isit dle.

I played on the team when he got hurt 6 games into the season. We were 6-0 at the time. We ended up 14-2. So, without him, we were 8-2. The only teams we lost to were

1)Judson by a field goal (the team that made it to the state final and lost that game to euless trinity in a close game)

2)Katy in the semifinal game when we were down to our 5th string running back (they were ranked 3rd in the nation)

It's funny cuz everybody still thinks he was the team even though the facts say otherwise

why would i be bitter about hearing how good one of my friends from high school is? Are you kidding me! When we found out he was going D-1, me and the rest of the team were elated. What I get tired of hearing is how so many people who said they were fans of the team counted us out after we lost him and still say to this day that he was the "whole" team. Everyone knows he is a special player, but anyone who plays football knows that it takes 11 guys to put the ball in the endzone, not just 1.

However, I kept going to every game and I was so proud of all of you to get as far as you did. the game over sv was the greatest game i have ever seen. he's fast but he needs to work on his running style, he stands pretty tall and flails his arms quite a bit while running, which could leed to fumbles in higher levels, but he could be a major beast considering his speed and moves

Agreed and he needs to switch the ball to his outside hand when carrying the ball. He holds the ball with his right hand every time except one play, he should switch the ball to his left hand in some of the plays so he can use his right to keep defenders back. Devin should be good at the next level b/c of his speed and he knows how to set up his blocks.

Thats really good to hear & I mean that in all sincerity. I played for Reagan the year b4 this season & i was at the game where Devin got hurt. I just couldnt believe how people were trying to say that the Reagan coaches taught their players to be dirty. Thats the farthest from the truth. Plus no one even cared much about the loss after that game. Every1 was down about Devin being hurt.

We'd love to have him but he'd have some very stiff competition for a starting spot. Already some very speedy backs waiting in the wings there.
