I love this message because when I was younger I use to want hair like famous stars and celebrities. Who know I had hair like them the whole time because they were using wigs and weaves to cover damage,slow growth and or unhealthy hair.

Now I truly enjoyed this video. You are teaching the young women and men out here who are idolizing these other human beings that they believe to be perfect. These kids are easily influenced and it is important that you use your forum to do somthing positive and teach the younger and some older followers. keep this type of forum where you choose topics that are teaching others not so much bitching about celebrities or going off it is a waste of time and ppl will not listen to your vids.

A friend of mine was once hired to do a print ad for a natural hair care product and the first thing they did when she got there for the photoshoot was perm her hair to make it looks straighter as if their product could produce that look on hair not chemically altered. Very sad.

I don't think anyone in this age looks at those commercials and see those ads and expect it to be genuine or even expect the same result, but they'll all do what they can (including using fake lashes, hair, make-up, etc) to pull off the same look... Respect.

That really gets me that the mascara commercials show people with FAKE lashes. No matter how much of that product you use, you'll never have those lashes. I've always known that they were fake. Also don't like that they do those hair color commercials wen they are wearing weaves. Beyonce's hair commercials particularly irk me. Not only is it not her hair, they lighten her skin color, they do this in magazines too.

Yeah I have noticed women wearing false eyelashes in magazines for covergirl lash blast and things of that sort....Same thing with Wigs...some people dont actually have half-wigs on on the package or they don't have lace fronts on but they are advertising it.

Honey it is all an illusion. The pictures the hair all of it. I make my living in it. But I tell my customers we can all look hollywood with th right make-up hair etc. Because when it is all over it beyonce,tyra,ashley,brittany etc has to take the makeup off and wigs, weaves etc. And we are all human. Beauty starts on the inside first everything else is extra.

I agree that it's really insulting to try and sell a product (especially eyelashes) and use fake products to enhance it.

I love fake lashes IMO though. It looks good once in a while, when you go out and what not, but it shouldnt be abused. Like in the commercial.
