Je mag best sporen gebruiken als je weet hoe je ze moet gebruiken en hoe je je benen stil houdt zodat je het paard niet prikt maar idd mensen moeten niet zeuren iedereen loopt te zeiken over sporen en als anky ze heeft maakt het niet uit :)

@MapiyaKiche if we did not give our horses jobs to do they would all end up in the meat shop. These horses love what they do and because of their nature they trust and love to please, otherwise i think if they decided to retaliate we would always lose.

@akseegers I'm not saying i have anything against horseriding. I have actually been riding horses for years. I just think this type of riding is unnatural. I prefer natural horsemanship and having a really personal relationship with the horse. i dont know if you're aware, but this woman's training techniques are horrible and extremely cruel

@MapiyaKiche I'm not going to have a big discussion about what's right and wrong but dreesage is about preforming their natural movements so yeah it's natural. As for her training methods, everyone has their opinions about them, I don't say that it's cruel because the horse has to be flexible at this level - just like a gymnast, their warm ups aren't easy either.

anky is amazing. if her horses were treated so cruelly, would they perform as beautifully as they are doing . they are always perfectly relaxed in the ring.

@mallithegr8 salinero isn't relaxed. he is totally uptight and his walk is not so food because his backmuscles are uptight and not loose. he doesn't step under the balance point in the piaffe and ankys hand is too hard. the second bit, the kerb is nearly horizontal and not nice and loose.

Cruelty is no way to train a horse, even if it makes the horse have perfection on the outside, the horses spirit is drained, i segest all of yall look at montey roberts joinup vidios! (sp) they are awesome

And we should all open our eyes and fight against Rollkur or any kind of cruelty against horses and not be quiet, only because some people tell us to be quiet.

We owe this to the horses 'cause they give us everything we want if we ask them.

'guess that none of you has ever seen her while "training" her horses? It's true, during the contests you nearly never see her horses have their noses behind the vertical, but if you have a closer look, you can also see, that the horse sometimes wants to go into the Hyperflexion-position, so behind the vertical, and she just pulls it upwards again. This is so cruel. It may look good to the outside, but sometimes a look behind the scenes can change your mind ;-)

Anky is such an amazing rider you cant even see any of her aids for the flying changes and everything i love Salinero's Piaffe and passage btw people think Anky's hyperflexion is cruel but the way she uses it theres nothing wrong with it x

No I'm not dutch, but frankly our USA dressage team really sucks so until we get a better team, I gotta have a rider to admire! lol, but I agree, f Salinero won't get hyped up like he did at the end of the WEG 06 games, then he stands a good chance of winning, and that will be Anky's third (or fourth?) Olympic victory!!
