  • It is interesting how you people classify the victims as the members of your church, the family or those who bought the record. We couldn't care less. At no point do you religious people apologize to the real victims of this despicable fraud, ie. the real cancer sufferers hurt by this. Stop trying to cover up for this fraudulent pastor and your church. Most of us do not care for your body of christ, whatever. If you are young, take note yet another in a long line of evangelical frauds.

  • You are so right George that God has the authority to judge, right?

The rich judge the poor and God judges the rich.

  • God Bless you. God really speaks to me through you. Thanks.

  • ur speech is so tru, i was hurt by wat happened, but that doesnt take the anointin off the words to the song. my thoughts are now where and what is he doin now? will he ever preach again?

  • Amen brother!!! we are no one to Judge God is in control!

  • Wonderful, Papa G. Thank you!

  • Good talk George!

  • Love is all you need.....all you need is love. Let God handle all the punishment and judgement.

  • Thank you for making this video George. It was a blessing to hear this.

  • Thank you for your comment. I appreciate you taking the time to comment.

  • Thank you for making this video. It was a blessing to hear this.

  • Thank you for making this video! A friend of mine reminded me to pray for Pastor Mike a few weeks ago. This was another reminder that we all sin and it's at times like this that we need to pray harder. God bless you!

  • I just saw this tonight and it's given me a completely different view on the issue. When it happened, a friend of mine from Shakerz said that he was praying for Gugz and I was wondering what he meant. Then a friend of mine from Malaysia asked me about 3-4 weeks ago about how Pastor Mike was and I wasn't sure. She was praying for Mike and it made me realize that we do have to pray, even now. Thank you for making this video! God bless you!

  • Great thought's!!! May god bless you and australia!!!

I was also angry when i heard about the lies of mike. And more than this i lost the affiance in god, but he healed.

And yeah that's true. It's not the part of the one who's sinner to judge, it's about the almigthy and holy lord! May the lord bless mike and his family. Let us praise the lord and nod the leaders and their stories cause he's the one and only who deserves glory.

    Blessings from switzerland, peter

  • Yeah George, Jesus could have stood back when he saw the money changes in the Temple, kept his mouth closed so he didnt utter a negative word, and just prayed for all involved. But no, he didnt do that. He got angry at what he saw, he vented the anger, and he let them know it. You can just wimp off and pray in the corner if you like, but that is just religious. It isnt real, and frankly it isnt Christ-like. Besides that, Michael G deserves a table or two turned on his head!

  • Hi wollep1,

Yes Jesus did do that & was very right to do so, however, that is a very different situation to this. He was angry at those who made God's House into a 'Sales' house with no reverence to God. In this situation, Mike G lied & is now walking through the consequences of his actions. Our role is not to become all 'self-righteous' & condemn more, our role is to love & bring truth, peace & restoration.

  • nice video, i agree, defiantly think condemnation is not the way to go God bless You! :)

  • So what are you suggesting? That we pretend it did not happen?By appealing to Christians not to judge or condemn, but rather to forgive, and by implication forget, you are advocating a conspiracy of silence. That was not the approach of St Paul who named names and exposed corruption in the Church. The world can see through your thin attempts at damage limitation and is not impressed when it sees that the church is no better than itself. You are just giving unbelievers further cause to blaspheme.

  • Hi DYoung,

That is not what I am attempting to do. What he did was wrong and needs to walk through the consequences. My concern is with the rest of us & what our hearts will become after this is long gone. How we respond to a situation such as this will show us the state or our heart & will determine the path of ouir future. You can not spread hatred & call it 'righteousness' (that's self-righteousness)..let God do what He needs to & we do what He needs us to- & that's to forgive & love.

  • Dude nice job ,, this whole thing has brought up so much trouble and arguments between me and my friends and i agree whole heartedly that we should not stop praying for him .. yeah what he did was confusing but the dude rocked it so many times at audacious / hillsong UTD : i aint gonna stop praying for him cause i believe he needs it more than ever right now x

  • Mr G,

I think I've seen you in my area down in Sydney... Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that you did a great job on this video, you have changed my mind about the entire situation. God bless you bro

P.S. awesome goatie bro, the boys and i are wearing the exact same style.

  • Hey bro,

I am a granville boy (now living in Brisbane). I was back home only three weeks ago... how's granville going??..haha.

Great to hear from you bro & thanks for the kind comment.

    G.

  • We do judge in our society that is why we have laws. It appears that if a Christian or a ministers son commits a crime we should offer forgiveness and let bygones be bygones. What if Mike was the son of a politician? Or a politician himself? The stuff he did would it wind him in jail? I think you practice a strange sense of fairness. But I guess their is a reason for groups like ministry watch.

  • hey past... i agree with everything that you have said except the fact that i dont think it is correct for us to sing that song. The words may be true and scriptural but they were birthed in falsehood. And anybody singing that song has the potential to receive a negative impartation that can adultrate their spiritual lives. Worship is the most intimate expression of our love for jesus and we open our spirits when we sing songs. there is potential danger in advocating this.

  • Gods mercy on us EVERY DAY is so awesome hey? This man, i make no excuse for what he has done, but the Lord said himself "THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NO SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE." From the moment His blood was shed on the cross till now not one human being on this planet can or ever will pick up a stone to cast it. WE ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALLEN SHORT OF HIS GLORY. We just need to do what God told us to do in the last days which is TO WATCH AND PRAY so that even the very elect(US) wont be deceived.

  • You're telling everyone to not think about it and not judge what he did.

Thats the cornerstone of religion right there . . . . dont think and dont make a decission.

    The real cancer is religion.

  • I am not telling you not to think about it,I am telling you to not judge others when each one of us make mistakes & do stupid things...(yes, Mike will have to wear the consequences of his actions) but how will you walk away from this...more bitter, more resentful, more angry!!-your choice of what you do will dictate the way you will walk through life.

I agree, religion is a problem-Christianiny is not a religion, its a relationship with God- BIG DIFFERENCE!

  • Yeah you must spend hours shaving, man. Mike committed a crime and therefore will be subject to the law. You cant just say oh he needs prayer because he was naughty. What he did was a very serious criminal act. If you commit a crime of fraud you do the time. I think you are sending the message "just do whatever you want it will be ok"

  • Hey Peter,

Not hours...seconds (been doing it for a long time).

I agree with you about the crime & consequences. Of course, if the law finds him guilty of a crime then he will need to face the penalty. My concern is to try & avoid another issue among the young ones- bitterness & despair. To show them that they can walk through this and come out stronger.

    Thanks Peter.

  • What do you mean when you say I cant judge him for what he did?

Do you mean I should ignore what he did?

Also, when you say "life and death comming out of your mouth" . are you trying to scare me?

Also, you say "in the body of christ" over and over and over, but I dont think that means anything. . . and then you said "The kingdom of darkness will come in a reak havvocc with the body of christ" . . . . exactly what are you talking about?

Do you mean atheists? . . . are you judging atheists?

  • Hi TOTU,

Each of your questions are in reference to principles in the Bible. For example: "Don't look at the speck in your brothers eye when there is a beam in your eye" (i.e.you judge others when you yourself have sinned). Also, the Bible tells us that our tongue can produce life or death-i.e. it can build someone up (self esteem, image, positive speaking) or it can tear someone down (negative, bitterness, self righteousness). The Body of Christ is in reference to those who believe in Jesus.

  • I was really shocked and disappointed when I learned about Mike's deception. The song Healer has been a huge blessing to me and will continue to inspire my faith. When you live a secret life of deception it puts a tremendous strain on your spirit if you have any inner-voice at all! Can you imagine living a lie for 2 years? Man! I'd be nuts! The church (thats us) has to forgive him. It ain't always EASY to forgive. Jesus took all of my junk and He can do the same for Mike. Help me pray for him.

  • ... Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the Lord will be my light. Because I have sinned aginst him, I will bear the Lord's wrath, until he pleads my case and establishes my right. He will bring me out into the light; I will see his righteousness.

    Micah 7:8b-9

  • I liken Mike's story unto this...

When one becomes a parent, do they parent perfectly & make 0 mistakes? Or is it a learning process of do's and don't for both child and parent?

Just because one becomes a *christian* doesn't mean that EVERYTHING they do is perfect.

This doesn't just go for christians but for every human to ever walk this earth.

    But that's just me...

  • ????????

so jesus was lying through mike???

  • No.... Jesus is truth.

    Mike was Lying

    FullSTOP!

  • Thank you so much for this video..Couldn't have shared in better words..Brother Mike is still a dear brother in Christ who is in need of prayers and love..What he has done does not make him different from any of us as we all have fallen short. Let God do His work: )It's exciting how God is going to use him next as brother Mike's experience with God's forgiveness will be life changing and one that God can use to reach out to so many out there who feels they have gone too far and can't come back..

  • did you draw your facial hair on with a texta?

  • hahahaha.... no my friend!!..

    it takes some skillful shaving.

    hahahaha.

  • well, hats off to you man. You must have a serious blade!

  • i totally agree man.

    God is the judge.

  • Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

  • Healer song is God breathed...i believe that..and Mike Guglielmucci is one of the millions christians who are struggling with the same temptation... i still believe in Ps mike and Love him..i am praying for him..God will use this song to heal everybody to those who are hurting...

  • I wanted to ask one question, I know MG will be forgiven, because he is a professional Christian. All Professional Christians are forgiven. For us no professionals can we be forgiven? I dont expect that but find it sad that Calvary only applies to those in the professional realm of the Faith.

I wish MG and his family the best. I would love to know Jesus but understand because I am not good enough and lack talent, that cant happen. Sad but so very true, and its nothing to worship or praise.

  • God's grace knows no bounds. I am not in the professional realm of faith and I KNOW that the sacrafice Christ made not only applies to me but was made for me. I don't know you, or your experiences, so the last thing I want to do is make you feel judged. God has a plan and purpose for every creature. Please do not believe the lies of this world that have told you that you can't have a relationship with Jesus Christ. Please if you have any questions feel free to message me on here. God bless.

  • John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him will not perish, but have everlasting life. IF you believe in Jesus then you have everything greater than what is in the world. Jesus loves you no matter who you are.

  • Good on ya George~! Love ya work...LOl keep it up!

  • Jesus said when people wanted to stone a prostitute let the man without sin throw the first stone.... who are we to put down this guy and his family when we all sin??

look at this in a new way and it just shows how amazing God is through any situation... this lie, this sin, forget it its for God to deal with not us.

and i still beleive God is my healer even if mike might not

  • Get a life man. This guy committed a serious offence. Why dont you just say lets all forget about it and let him go back to the position he was in. Next you will be saying the pyschopath Todd Bentley is genuine and that the assaults he does on people are of God. He reckons God told him to kick that elderly woman in the face with his biker boot. Charges of assault should have been lodged.

  • Hey Peter,

I do have a life my friend-trust me!

Yes, lets move on from this without bitterness, but he will not be going back to his position-I can assure you of that.

I have no idea what Todd Bentley has been doing mate, but if he has committed criminal acts then he needs to face the music-no doubt.

  • Hi andylord1,

your comments are interesting- why does God hate planes? & how did he warn humanity not to build them?... thanks for taking the time to comment.

    G.

  • to build those things!! Infact after the spanish plane crash recently and all those deaths in that one i think your little story to be sick. Let me tell you this... GOD Hates planes what does that say about your leaders since the story was like a comparison of them

  • about that plane crashing story that someone's put below and mal fletcher used in his video:- yeh so many thousands of planes take off and land every day but when one crashes (and its not like plane crashes are that rare!!) God cries cos of the pain, suffering, death and massive nock on effect for each individual who was on that plane and says why did you not hear me warning you not

  • As a Christian I should be appalled. I should be furious that my faith was so misrepresented by this man's doing. I do not wish ill on Michael. I do not wish to see him exposed or condemned. I'm not bitter, nor am I anticipating Michael's ruin.

You stand up there in your nice outfit, waving your mobile device around, telling people how they should respond, making sure they know the "right" way to go about it.

The solution is genuine humility and brokenness.

  • HI dQbell,

I agree that humility & brokeness are solutions... That fits with what I am saying. My objective is to try & stop a massive wave of bitterness & despair from hitting our young people- whether this wave hits or not (and the degree of its strength if it does) will depend on how our young people respond to this situation. I am attempting to help them with the 'how to' so that they can move on & get stronger.

    Hope that helps.

    G.

  • Fair enough. I am coming from the standpoint where I deeply care about the representation of our faith in Jesus Christ. There is nothing new under the sun. People have made mistake since the beginning of creation. There is grace in all of this that is sufficient to heal and mend.

I want the best for Michael. I want more than anything to see God glorified.

  • AMEN to that! Let us continue praying for Mike's healing & restoration. ANd yes it's true, we must not condemn him. Despite his weaknesses, God was able to use him to so many people, to create the song Healer, which had inspired many to trust God for healing. God made use of him bcoz healing will be evident in his life right at this very moment...healing from his addiction. He'll be a living testimony of how God can heal & do the impossible. I'm excited in what GOd will do in his life...

  • I can't understand how easy it is for us to stereotype everything. Just because of one mistake, how can you generalize Christians just like that?

Really man, think. It's so easy to type out a generalized comment here. But have you really thought about what you are saying?

Christianity is a relationship, not a religion. Sadly, many Christians still think it is a religion.

My point here is, there's more to things than meets the eye. Don't generalize your comments. It's anything but wise.

  • This is TRUTH. Man will always fail, God will never. Put your faith in the everlasting.

  • and i will look in your eyes and say hopefully the AOG sideshow wheels are falling off and maybe its time to go back to reading the Bible.

but in reality, mike will step down for 3 years, hand out the gingernuts and coffee at church and be reinstated again in 3 years where he will be a "reformed" man, no longer one to wear green flanno shirts and tubes up his nose.. those tubes were just fashion, nothing to do with cancer, im wearing my tubes now ! their AWESOME! praise BRIAN..

  • i like what u r doing papa G is it?

  • My opinion, This event has set christians back a step. Christian are already seen as money hungry people which is not how it is at all but unfortunately the people who see this say " I told you, christians are all fakes and liars who just want money" This is one mans BIG, HUGE, MASSIVE MISTAKE and churches or christians should not be judged by it.

I'm more concerned with the people who were thinkin about going to church but because of events like these refuse too.

    Like i said, my opinion!

  • why would someone lie about having cancer?

really makes me wonder about christians...

  • That is a very good question musiq. We don't really know why he did this-doesnt really matter.

I don't think this is a Christian thing..if someone in your workplace (or school) lied about something you wouldn't say "what's with American people" or "what's with japanese people"..this is an issue with an individual having problems to deal with, responded to those problems by lieing who happens to be a christian. We all sin my friend & make mistakes,no matter the size of that sin,its still a sin.

  • everyday thousands of planes take off and land. it is only when one crashes that people gather and look. My point is just because someone has fallen does not mean that the rest of us are the same!!!

Mike is now in a time of restoration and forgiveness. I trust you will try to do the same...

  • All praise to JESUS our HEALER!!! Let's keep our eyes on Him & our hearts full of His love and grace. Before u post a comment, seriously, think what Jesus would say. Props again, Papa G...& btw, your gotie is wicked tight, dude...it's sad that people are so easily distracted! Christians are supposed to be known by their love for each other.i love you, man, & i love MG too. Let's pray for strength & unity in the body of Christ during this tough time. It's about JESUS CHRIST...His glory. -Vasko

  • thnx 4 that, as a young person, that helped me. :)

    godbless you

  • Hi Lachlan Crane,

You are correct, I don't know you but I know who you are. I really hope you are having a good week mate-sounds like you are a little upset.

    G.

  • What kind of mustache is this dude wearing? This guy is full of crap too. All a bunch of liars. This guy is trying to twist the blame.

  • Hi drgospel..

It's not a mustache, it is a 'goatie'. A very well groomed & shaped goatie. I don't believe that anything I am saying is a lie, I'm just trying to help the youth & young adults in our nation get through a fairly big shake-up. Have a good week dr.

    G.

  • A word in season

  • Thanks... sound wisdom at this time. I know that the words you are speaking are from the heart of God.

  • i'm glad i listened to this actually. i began to really doubt people, and God after hearing the news, but now i realise that no matter what happens, nothing should allow my back to be turned on God.

guess we have to be the bigger Christians and accept what he has done, and pray over these circumstances.

  • I will still sing that great song,The Healer!

Whatever has happened does not negate the fact that Jesus IS The Healer.

Let God Be True Though Every Man a Liar!

  • amen

  • Be careful of this man. He appears to be in professional damage control to save his pay packet and defend his business (church)

    1. Yes you should be judging especially because he was in the "church" It is those outside that you don't judge.

    2. The system this man (Pharisee G or Papa G) represents is the cause of the problem.

    3. He is loading you up with guilt and there is no glory to Jesus in one word that he said. It is all about saving the church business by telling you to be silent.

  • bsmithaz,

thanks for your comments mate. I can assure you I am not in any form of 'damage-control'. If you believe church is a business then you obviously have no idea about what church really is- the love of God & the love of people. Also, if you watch the vid again you will see that there is no mention of staying silent-I ask people to speak to someone who can spiritual guide them with Godly wisdom.

    Thanks bsmithaz,

    G.

  • Valid points.

  • im not deceived...i still believe in God %100 and ps mike....just look at the lyrics and the verse that he read...we all know the cancer was just a hoax but for me, what he means about the healer song is the inner struggle that he is asking to God that needs to be healed...mahn, i still love ps mike and i forgive him...God is Love...

  • i'm sure they have their reasons though, & i trust their motives are pure. All the judgement on them & Hillsong is disgusting. Jesus is LOVE, people!! Obviously the people making those comments have not truly experienced God's grace. We all just need to pray for MG & the ministries that he was part of, & for all the ones affected by this, that each of us will turn our eyes totally to Jesus through this. BTW, HS stood for Henry Seeley in my last comment, not Hillsong...just wanted to clarify

  • Go Papa G! This is def NOT a time to throw stones. Yes, what MG did was wrong, but it's not our place to judge. & i still love the song...was listening to it last night at work...& no, i wasn't thinking about MG when it came on...i was thinking about JESUS the HEALER. The song is still just as powerful as it was 2 weeks ago. i am a little sad that PS has taken their vid of HS singing it off UTube b/c it really has had a huge impact on tons of people, & will STILL have an impact b/c it's about JC

  • . he may have the best intentions at heart to help people, to save the lost etc etc, BUT HE IS NOT A PASTOR, NOR ARE THE OTHERS WITHIN THAT CHURCH. yes, today we must pray for the young man, but the consequences in the natural realm must be paid, ask king david. one other thing papa g, all these pastors and there is not one who discerns the spirit on the young boy to set him free?? continuing

  • let me answer..there were none in that church. so who are these "pastors" appointed by man..sadly they are the hirelings. papa g let me tell you what the word of god says.." the sins of the father will be visited on the sons to the 3rd and 4th generation" the father calls himself a pastor but he does not have eyes to see deception in his own house? im sorry, he is not a pastor. continuing

  • . you say that judgement is not our thing to do...but the man has judged himself, furthermore papa g, "judgement begins in the house of the lord" and this is only the beginning in australia. the surface has only been scratched. answer me this one papa g..WHERE WERE THE PASTORS APPOINTED BY GOD WHO HAVE SPIRITUAL EYES TO SEE IN THE SPIRIT REALM TO PROTECT THE SHEEP FROM THE WOLVES???? continuing

  • papa g. what you say is true only because you take the story down a certain road. i believe that as a whole, the body of christ moving in love would care for this young man. but i see all those who still believe in him are using scripture to suit. fine, but scripture to justify the wrong done is a dangerous thing. i pray the young man repents with his whole being, because hell for eternity is not something to meditate on or to be wished upon no man. continuing

  • Hey intruder...thanks for your comments mate.

I agree that what Mike did was VERY wrong & he has to pay the consequences of his actions (I trust that his leadership in Australia-the ACC, will be doing just that). My appeal was to the young ones in this nation-to help them know that they don't need to slide into depression, despair & bitterness-none of those will help this nation heal. I agree that discernment needs to be stronger, but sometimes my friend-deception can b....decieving!!

  • God bless bro...

  • Love you George! Shout outs from Sydney brother. Thanks for this.

  • look onthe positive side of things...we prayed for him not to have cancer..and he doesnt have cancer

In a way we should be pleased for that.

  • Ha Ha Ha. This made us laugh. No offense really We needed that. But yea a positive outlook is good. Besides I bet everyone who is throwing stones at him right now wouldn't dare share the skeletons in their own closets. All we can do is pray for Mike.

  • It is sad what has happened. This is the time where the church has the opportunity to show it's true character. God is never taken by surprise. It is time to stand together united and pray for pastor Mike. True Christianity is about extending the hand and lifting up your neighbour who is in trouble. Romans 3:23..we have all fallen short...We are standing on the threshold of the true character test of ourselves and how we treat God's church..

  • spot on;)1:50-2:14 was great. God waches our response. thats great:) Thts goin into the journal

  • Thanks Matthew,

When I shot this, I did not know why Mike did what he did (today it is a little more obvious). I am definitley not in damage control, I don't need to be. I am more concerned with the hearts & feelings of the young people in Australia. I am hoping & praying that bitterness & despair doesn't grip them & am trying to show them that they can get through this without being forever affected.

    Thanks mate.

  • I agree with what you have said that the whole issue is between Mike and God......

  • hahaha... thanks richyboi!

  • forget the previous comment by me... it's all over the shop haha

  • Further, it is an eye opener to the church to withdraw on judging those in the world when at this time the church is now calling us NOT to judge those inside the church? The bible clearly states that the liar shall not inherit the kingdom... in the same way a homosexual will not. However, we seem to really focus on sin. If we only placed our eyes on Christ and not so much in the world (that includes man) we wouldn't be affected by this.

  • well said.

  • Hi Lachlan Crane,

Great to hear from you. Sorry to hear that you feel that way about church mate. I'm not actually waving an iphone around, its a blackberry & it is what I jotted my notes on. Hope all is well Lach.

    G.

  • i knew the Guglielmucci family YEARS ago when Danny was still pastoring at paradise befor they moved danny down south (when ol' Tommy eveans was still with us), Danny is a great man, infact the hole family as i remember were great. but how can Mick do this, cancer victims lose wieght, if anything mick put it on, how did he think he could explain that away? its sad,as the damage is done, cause people wont look at all the good he has done, they will now just focus on and remember this.

  • Needless to say, the song "Healer" was anointed. I fail to believe that he didnt write it out of some sort of suffering

  • Thank you for an excellent response to the situation.

  • We should definately be forgiving mike right now and showing support

However what saddens me is that a lot of christians only respond in this way because they respect mike as a songwriter, i mean where are the facebook groups made by christians saying that they want to show forgiveness and love to people like Osama bin laden?

  • Hi 1111matthew1111,

I understand what you are saying. However, I don't believe that he needs forgiveness cause he write songs- it has nothing to do with him, but everything to do with us & how we respond. He's done wrong & will be held accountable for it, but that does not mean we go crazy in the process & let bitterness & despair eat us as well. Hope that makes sense.

    G.

  • we do not have the right to judge what he has done....we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God....

  • Hey Sundaynightrockshow....

I appreciate your comments. The blackberry was were I jotted my notes at 2am that morning. I'm only moderating comments so as to not spread the bitterness & hatred. My main concern is for the young ones hurting right now & trying to show them that they can get through without bitterness & despair. I am posting intelligent comments/discussion whether they agree with me or not, i'm moderating the horror hatred & anger- speaking life not death with our words. thanks.

  • Fair enough, but i think you know as well as most other "wise" people, that we're pretty sure god let something like this happen for good. Whether it be for a persons own relationship with god or the fact that these big churches (ie- hillsong, plante shakers & dare i say it..your own citipointe) should wake up to the fact that you have all been creating a church culture of idol worshipping, status & a quest for christian fame. This whole latest saga being a prime example... (continued)

  • . Or better still wake up to the fact that God maybe trying to shake a few people up and get them realising that hang on..somethings not right here. Maybe "corporate christians" should wake up to the fact the gods word insists that "God does not dwell in temples built by hands" (Acts 17:24), yet your mega churches insist that God should.

  • Indeed suggesting God doesnt need your "christian culture" of shopping for the cheapest grace by toning things down a bit and pumping up your sunday services, or your multi million dollar mega churches, is the sort of thing that surely gets frowned upon and viewed as, lets use your words hear george..."speaking life not death with our words". And i should know, ive herd you preach it many a time....

  • Actually im really surprised the citipointe logo didnt fade in and out at the end...

  • ....good pick up 'sundaynight'.. I didn't put a logo because it was me speaking not a citipointe pastor. I understand where you are coming from in your previous comments-however, you must be aware that God is bigger than all of that-surely.

  • Yea right on PS George! Like you said the othernight,

Remove the plank of 4x2 from your own eye before complaining about the spec of saw dust in your brothers. (new Papa G translation).

This was no different to lying about how much you earn, or weather it was you who ate the last dohnut, the difference was this was in the public eye. However in God's eyes its no different to any other sin.

For all have sined and fallen short of the Glory of God!

  • Amen ! Grat Response i Agree with ALL that you said and i acn't help but remember what i was taught a long time ago "one should never Put Another Human Being up On A pedestal-because they will ALWAYS Fall" as we ALL do i've lost count of the many times I've fallen ,However Jesus will never Fall we can ALWAYS count on him.Of Course 1 need's to be held accountable for thier actions, It is not up to me To pass Judgement! ALL Wrongdoing is Bad IT ALL STINKS!! I just Thank God For His Endless Grace!

  • Is there hope for MIKE ? Yes

Does GOD still Love him? Very much

Can GOD restore the wasted years ? absolutly .

I firmly believe the song wil mean more and real to MIKE now more than when he wrote it GOD loves us all the same and he will never rest until he has finished wat he started

Thanks for the video maybe it is a time for us as individuals too to introspect our lifes and see how it wud be if it was projected on a big screen and as Jesus said he who has no SIN cast the first stone

  • Well said!

  • He probably will & deserves to do so....

  • In alot of ways we set Mike Guglielmucci up to fail.

Like Hollywood, soo many famous individuals get soo burnt out on living the fame and everything that goes with it, all the people that are watching them expecting this famous individual to somehow fix and change their lives, the pressue of this fame becomes too much and then they are consumed and eventually break, turning to drugs or something else that in the end destroys them.

  • Just hearing this information in Egypt today.... so confused. But I agree the judgment lies with God not with men Let us still continue to pray for him, UNITY THROUGH FAITH!

  • I am definitely not saying not to talk about it.. I actually say that we need to talk to someone about the questions we have... I am wanting young people to understand that we can get past this without despair & bitterness- cause all those things do is hurt us more. Thanks for your comments though.

  • this message is awesome it has really made me think about it in a better light given me a better view on the whole situation. Amazing i tottaly agree with you

  • That was great PapaG... much needed words.

  • Well, many people prayed for him and were deceived. It messed with alot of peoples faith. He lied to his own family and thousands of others. if he has the nerve to show up sunday i dont think people are gonna be happy.

  • good on you G, heaps understand what you are saying, and totaly agreee, god is so good, and people who are condmeing mike its not our place god is the judge ,at the end of the day

    the gugglimucci family is amazing.

  • NO drama here my friend. I totally agree that what Mike did was a rort & scam & he WILL be held accountable. I am addressing those young ones that have been affected by this, so that bitterness does not come & consume them even more, especially to the point of becoming twisted emotionally.

  • 'He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone.' John 8:7 it is not up to us to judge Mike... its our job to love him, just as Jesus loves us!

  • dino..there is no coverup here...I totally agree that he needs & will be held accountable for what he did- IT WAS WRONG. I am addressing the young people of our nation- so as to not have bitterness consume them & adversely affect them even more.

  • HSC.. I appreciate your comment. I know that Mike will be held accountable for all that he has done-NO DOUBT about that. I am VERY concerned with the young people (watch the video again, especially the last part)..it was my burden for them that got me to do this video.

  • xinbogger...I appreciate what you are saying. That is not how I'm trying to paint the picture. Mike is totally in the wrong & he will have to face the circumstances-no doubt. I am addressing the rest of us & the importance of the 'state of our heart'. Bitterness will consume us & that is what we are trying to avoid.

  • Well spoken my brother!!

  • Good on you mate, really good stuff........ Thankyou for some solid reason, Lord knows mate, a lot of people need it..... God be God glorified in all this. And you know that he will!!!

  • You miss the point. Guglielmucci is a liar and a crook. People need to be warned about those who prey on the weak and the vulnerable, and they need to be exposed for what they are. Reserve your sympathy for their victims.

I know - because my grandkids gave him $600 - which was every cent they had saved over three years. They are 10 and 11 and years old.

  • hrtransit.. I agree that what Mike did was TOTALLY WRONG...He will be held to account by those above him (and it will not be a slap on the wrist-let me assure of that). My main sympathy & concern are the young ones that have been affected by this. I am wanting to avert another disaster called 'the wave of bitterness' that will crash on our young people & consume them-and we all know that will not help them.

  • Also, when your grandkids gave there hard-earned money, they gave it to God & he will bless them...it is not wasted. What Mike did with it will be held to account by the leadership & by God-your grandkids money is not wasted, God will bless them.

  • good stuff, george

i hope many people see this

  • Very Clear, And Very True. Thankyou :D

  • I guess it is somewhat exacerbated by the fact that he was in such a position of trust yet defrauded so many. Will be interesting to see if he is prosecuted in the courts. It is a bit like that woman Angie Walsh only she wasnt a preacher. I think she is still in jail isnt she?

  • Loved your heart George, what you said is so right, well done. Jesus washed the feet of Judas and called him his friend even though he knew that he would betray him. It's true that now its between Mike and God, I don't want to speak judgement over him, I praise God that everyday he gives HIS grace to me.

So thank you George God bless

  • Good message - thanks for bringing perspective... I hope this truly blesses those that have been affected. Blessings, M

  • Thank you so much Papa G,

Your words have helped change the opinions

    of so many people.

I will be praying for Mike.

    God Bless,

    - Ryan :D

  • God will still be glorified.

  • Wise words.....

However, my issue is that I have seen people asked to leave Pentecosal (ACC member) churches for far less damaging behaviour.

I truly hope that leadership across ACC will take some of the responsibility. Too many eyes have been "off the ball".

This debacle clearly shows that ACC leadership are far from infallible; and must accept some responsibility. They can't have it both ways.

Praying for Mike. But, "to whom much is given, much is expected."

  • The other thing I would add, is that the systemic stifling of debate and intelligent discussion is one of the reasons this debacle has been able to occur.

Yes, be wise with our words - absolutely. But we have God-given brains too, and must not be discouraged from deep consideration (and informed and intelligent discussion!) as to how such a debacle has been able to occur.

All that discernment we here about from leadership. Where has theirs been?

  • Papa G, it is interesting that you are moderating responses to this video. This kind of tragedy should encourage open and honest responses....not just the publishing of those you deem appropriate.

Such an approach to "big issues", ie stifling of the expression of "varying perspective" is all part of the broader ACC issue.

    Very, very disappointing.

  • kernahan...I agree with what you say. Mike will be held to account for what he has done-NO DOUBT. My point is to try and stop the 'cancerous' effect (not pun intended) of BITTERNESS...that stuff will rip into the fabric of our young people. Debate & discussion is great, however, if I am speaking about using words of life not death, I need to moderate responses so as to not spread the hate, anger, etc etc. Your responses have been great, however, some of the one I have recieved have been horrible

  • I appreciate your response, Papa G. Impressive.

Sorry to hear some responses have been horrible. I can just about imagine.

  • Thanks! I think you are right. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy but our god is so much bigger than that!

  • WOW! Ps George that was AMAZING!!! Your video touched my heart and i know so many young peoples lives will also be affected for Good and for God as they read this!!! Thank YOU so much!

  • mmm, well spoken papa G. everybody, it is only natural to feel this betrayal, anger, hatred..

but doesn't Jesus tlk about how the pharisees were about to stone the adulterous woman to death over her sin and then Jesus said "he who is without sin throw the first stone"

we are ALL sinners, and each sin is equal...

mike, i'm hoping that you make things right not only with God but with the wider community

  • I am a cynic and sarcastic as my name might imply but what you said was deeply moving and I believe you are correct. I am very glad the person is not sick, cancer is a horrid disease.

  • The relevancy is what will I learn from this?Where was my discernment? God give me understanding to discern between good and evil. Holy Spirit reveal deception to me that I would not be caught up in it. The question is have I been caught up in a movement of false doctrine that deviates from the truth of God's word?

  • I really appreciate that you have posted this video as a response. I agree its important to FOCUS on God right now and who he is... Mike is not God he never has been or will be.

Mike owes the church an apology which will come I am sure.

I do hope Mike and his family get the help they need and that Pst Danny and Sharon are not persecuted for their sons mistakes...

YET HE WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE...

Continue to reach out and pray for the Guglielmucci family at this difficult time.

  • YET HE WITHOUT SIN CAST THE FIRST STONE...

This is an all time classic. Everyone has committed sin. So with that in mind every time I commit sin I will use this quote to deflect the attention away from "my" sins and avert everyones focus to the sins of themselves. I am sure if Jesus knew all the get out of jail cards that this had given to those who wear the cloth he would have held his tongue that day.
