They killed off the white farmers that grew the crops that fed them. The Africans are too stupid and lazy to run the farms themselves so the UN feeds the animals.

We need to let nature run its course in Africa and not interfere. The ones with morals, birth control and the ability to feed themselves will survive and the rest will die. It is called survival of the fittest, nature's law.

Nations have donated millions & millions over the years if it did not get eating by redtape before it got to them there own government wont help these people then we should leave them to it & do there government for genicide by denial instead of constantly aking us none africans for money we dont even have as our own governements are counting our every penny before we even get it basicaly with there new world order total control then let them take total responsibility

Absolute nonsense! the idea that rich countries are generous towards Africa is terribly ill-informed. Agricultural subsidies paid by western governments have a disastrous effect on African farmers who are undercut. In addition the people on this video are feeling the effects of global warming, a problem caused mainly by countries outside Africa, in particular the USA with China coming up fast.

Thomas, these people's income has been slashed fivefold in the last year and the cost of basic food has more than doubled. They simply can't survive without aid and the work that charities like Oxfam are doing goes directly to these people not to the government. These people's lives are worth as much as your life so leaving them to die as you suggest is not an option for anyone with any compassion.

Even if some governments in East Africa are failing their people, we don't have to.

I understand, everyone is struggling now so it is hard to find money for those in desperate need. If any good comes from the current food and oil crises it will be that the world wakes up to the need for agricultural development in poor countries.
