  • A brass shard?

  • To think of it, even cheaper that .22 rim fires is air pistol, with that one can practice some daily, at home, even in apartment. and what comes to the .22 ammo, my experience is that the mini-mags arent that special, better to get just standard cci, half as cheap, at least, unless one also uses .22 for self defense, then the extra power of mini-mags might come handy.

  • Thats a great 22.

  • thats a sweet .22 pistol. where did you get that?

  • What do you suggest doing if owning weapons is illegal in my country? Im curious to how many people own guns like those in yours?

  • I reload using my cast bullets. 9mm, 40, 45acp, 32 auto, 44 mag, 45 lc, etc all cost under $1 for a box of 50 for me... will stick with training and shooting 45 all day lol

  • @762infidel You do that. No one cares. This guide is for the guys and gals that don't have smelting and reloading rooms in their homes (most people). Why don't you stop bragging and make a video about how you do all the stuff you talked about in your comment? Why? Because most people on YT are full of crap.

  • ha u showed the 2 guns i used my tax return on... glock 34 for home defense/go to war gun and ruger mark 3 for range gun. but i got the hunter with the long barrel. both awsome guns.

  • Couldn't agree more about the Ammo Man and the offerings he has.

  • I agree with what your saying, however its some of the weapons you held up there that caught my attention. The GLOCK? The AR? Have you seen the prices on these particular weapons? They are far from CHEAP. Some of us have families to feed and clothe. I love my 2nd amendment, I hunt and shoot avidly, I guess I just don't have your pricey budget.

  • Not trying to pick a fight, but what the fuck is wrong, with woodstock, I have three guns with wood stocks. A 30.06, a .22, and a 12 guage with woo stocks. I like em. I also have two rifles with synthetic stock. A .17 mach2 New England(heavy ass mother fucker, and a savage .22.

  • @isamtator Nothing is wrong with a wood stock. Just seems that the types that shoot hunting rifles don't care about so called "assault weapons bans" which basically bans semi-auto rifles with pistol grips and "barrel shrouds" that "go up."

Not hating on hunters, they just care about the 2nd amendment for diff. reasons that I do. I care because I love freedom, not because of hunting.

  • I hunt, and I love my second amendment right, my pump, and single shot are the only non semiauto I have. You can hunt with and AR 15. I know I used to have one. But sold it, I did not need the money, just wanted something differant and cheaper.

  • @theroadwarri0r ak-47's and SKS have wood furniture as does a m-1 garand, Cetme's and FAL's also come with wood furniture...

  • I think it is much better to use your actual weapons. You can get an Advantage Arms slide for your Glock and a Ciener style .22lr conversion kit for your AR with some Black Dog magazines. I have/had both and they work fine once you figure out what bulk ammo they like. The Ciener likes Walmat Federal and the AA likes Remington Golden Bullets. They both like CCI Mini-Mags. The sights are very close to right on with the Ciener on my Bushmaster.

  • 12-14 come to canada! 25 dollars for 9mm.

  • @MrToadland1

Handguns are pretty much banned in Canada...

  • definitely going to remember this, while not illegal firearms are a bit of a social taboo in my area so ill most likely buy one when im in a building that allows firearms on the premises.

  • Hmm sounds like you spent time at Shooters Paradise :)

  • Mad max is awesome

  • They (the government) figure if they cant take your weapons, theyll price the ammo out of reach of most people, not to mention chain sporting goods stores take advantage.

  • Sound advise

  • lol no road warrior thing is gonna happen i see to many of these vids thinking that americas gonna colapse into a 3rd world country the fact is that couldnt happen because if it got down to that point people would just goto outher countries and outher countries would help us out we are just to great of a country to fall apart like that unless we were attack by a nuke or somthing of the magnititude witch i dont see happening in the near future

  • @with33 Where would you go if everything fell apart? South America would turn into even more of a basket case if we fall and Canada will be overrun by refugees from the States.

Remember, we have a President who told us Americans shouldnt be allowed to keep their house at 72 degrees all year round and he also said he woupld like to tax the cole industry out of business. If he gets his wish on these and other things we will see a national collapse.

  • Hey

    How old are you?

10 years is all America has left at the most....and once America goes down....so will everyone else.

You gotta be 14 years old.....right?

  • @John0Free

He is at least 21 to be owning pistols.

  • @with33 lol, dude, if your going to make an argument atleast spell correctly.

  • to solidify WW point; the Chi-Coms used to train their troops on SKS replica pellet guns . they recoiled and everything, just like the real SKS (i own both)

  • Wussy 9mm expensive?

Try a 45, now that is getting pricey.

I was (briefly) considering getting a 9 to save money.

  • @annihilator1100 Luckily, 9mm is now very available at Wal-mart. $8-9 per 50 round box. That's not bad. I recently found a little .25 acp pocket gun, and walmart ammo for that is $18 per 50rd box! (almost as much as .45 acp). Ridiculous... I don't know why he suggested expensive CCI .22 ammo though; 525 round brick of Federal .22 is about $20-25.

  • Every time I look at those .22 target pistols, I think of the old Lugers.

Oh, can anyone recommend a brand of .22 ammo with a high grain than 40?

  • Great advice as always

  • I've noticed over time like this movie takes forever to load and when I watch a music video it loads. in seconds and plays without interuption.Things that make you go hmmmmmm ?

  • I got to get the Advantage Arms .22 kit for my glock 19. just over three hundred bucks...shooting my actual carry gun...i think its a good option...

  • I rarely buy ANY targets. If I don't just draw some circles on an old piece of cardboard then I print my own targets of anything I want using Printmaster or use any print program.

I do like the index card idea.

  • A tip also. If you wanna use the large targets use MASKING TAPE on it. Put a few holes in it. Tape it up, shoot again

  • lots of good advice on all that stuff! I like-wise shoot those cheap paper plates.

  • Reloading helps reduce cost also. Although you need to buy a reloading machine it's worth it in the long run.

  • assuming you can buy primers!!!! i spent $300 on a brick of cci 450's! omg.. expensive!

  • I recommend a 22 magnum revolver instead of a pistol that shoots 22 long rifle

Ammo for the mag is alot more than 22 longs, but it is plentifull and I never have a problem finding any. I was amazed how loud the mag was, and even makes the pistol kick a bit, which simulates a larger center fire round , to keep your shooting skills honed.

  • To each their own. I don't agree with your suggestion as I prefer 10+ shot semi autos but hey, my videos are about thinking for yourself and you are doing that. Good job.

  • you should look into aguila 22 sniper ammo, 60grain bullet in a .22 only one i've found with any real stopping power

  • Has anyone ever said you sound like Kevin costner. I got a 1911 .45. 21.37 for fifty.

  • @theroadwarri0r That was a good response to him. I applaud you for not ragging on him that there is not enough ballistic advantage to 22 mag vs 22 LR out of a small 6 inch barrel to justify the cost of 22 mag vs 22 LR.

  • watch out. rimfire ammo is not reliable when stored for long periods. primers are not as good as those on center fire ammo. .32acp if you want the lowest recoil.

  • My preference for SHTF rifle is something like that AR that you have in the background with the 20" barrel.

Can you do a video of that sometime? What brand of rail is that? What optic?

  • what an idiot

  • Great tip. Thanks :)

  • Also check the Department of Forestry Services for rifle ranges in your state. They are 100% free and employ range officers for all operating hours, usually open Tue-Sat. but that may depend on your State. Of course you will need ALL your own equipment but you should have that if your a gun hand anyway!

  • Excellent job with the whole video series! I've learned a few things and found myself better prepared than I epected in some areas. No time like the present to get ready. Keep up the outstanding effort! America's future could depend on these lessons some day, scary but true.

  • Great work and continue to educate. Abundant common sense shown here.

(I think we may have both gone to the same "finishing school" by watching your vids.)

  • High Speed

    Keep moving

  • We are walking the same line. I am a 45 freak I have bought two 22 conversion kits for them to keep it cheap . And I bought a 22 conversion kit for my AR-15 so I can stay at the range longer and not go broke doing it. And to keep the same trigger feel in my favorite guns. Just not a the big bang for the buck just a small one . It's Just cheaper that way for now.

  • Your just JEALOUS. Do the world a favor and disappear.

  • He's actually just ignorant. Look at his youtube page. Uneducated and irrelevant.

  • Couldn't, got a "this account suspended" message. You're right though about him and your advise. My brother turned me on to these videos. We went to a gun show here in South Florida last week. While they are always pretty full, this time it was packed solid and most of the people coming out had multiple new handgun cases, rifles slung over there arms, shotguns, full ammo cases. A bunch of people getting AK's, Ar's, GSG's.I even saw a couple of tommy guns and a MP40. People are loading up.

  • DRY FIRE

  • I agree with you. Dry fire is very valuable in firearms training.

  • Matter of fact I needs to put a thousand DRY fires on my rifle before I go back out - but it's just so much fun to fire. I wish I could get paid and supplied free ammo just to be a firer

  • There are many places online you can download free target patterns to print.

  • I just purchased a Browning Buckmark URX for the same reasons you talked about. I bring my Paper plates and masking tape and I have 100 targets for $3.00. Great points and nice vid.

  • bringing your own stapler is key, even if somebody else isnt using it, it probably doesnt have staples in it anyway.
