I just saw Rufus Wainwright at Ravinia (Chicago) tonight. His voice, style and songwriting is superb... it was a stunningly beautiful performance. What a wonderful tribute to Kate McGarrigle and Loudon Wainwright, his father... to spawn such a talented musician who has come into his own voice. It's great fun to this this clip of him in his teens.

Wow, listen to the young Rufus. He sounds good, but this is either prior to his developing his own unique style or perhaps decided to use it. Or perhaps it's just the song.

This is so good. Anyone who has ever sung or played an instrument knows the immense joy of making music with others. The McGarrigle sisters and Rufus are top of the bill, I imagine their joy in making music like this must be similar. Great video, thanks for posting.
