I made some just now and used stove top stuffing blended up and added it to the shrimp paste and put a whole shrimp in the inside of each.. took more time but it was good...breaded the out side with corn meal

@DAN71061 in my opinion, i use peanut oil because not only does it have a higher smoke point than Corn oil, but it also imparts good flavors to the food your cooking. There's nothing wrong with corn oil tho.. :P
