  • If repetition is bad somebody better tell the Lord that the 4 living creatures who say "holy holy holy..." DAY and Night need to be cast out of heaven and Jesus never should have healed the blind beggar who said over and over "Jesus Son of David have mercy on me.". Don't be turning on protestant music. It's got lots of repetition.

  • The vain repetition He condemned is that of people who pray standing ``in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men.''

No prayer is vain, no matter how often repeated, if it is sincere, for Christ Himself engaged in repetitious prayer in the Garden of Gethsemani (``. . . he went again: and he prayed the third time,? saying the selfsame word''--Matt. 26:39, 42, 44),

  • @martlut This just proves the inconsistancies and contradictions of the bible. One part say's not to do something while another part say's it's ok. Read matthew 6:5-6 about praying. it's pretty clear what it say's and means. BUT read 1 Timothy 2:8 It's the complete opposite. This in fact allows christians to cherry pick the bible to suit their beliefs... So why would christians do what PAUL say's in 1 timothy over what JESUS say's in matthew 6. ????

  • go ahead and keep praying your rosary to Mary and on judgement day you will wish you never had done that. the bible says praying TO someone else besides to the Almighty is idolatrous. the bible also says in Deut 18 that contacting those who have passed on is a sin.

  • why?

  • Simple christians have "EGO'S".Anyone can stand out in front of a church and imagine they have the Whole truth. It is good to preach christ, but, not all are wise and no prophecy is of private interpretation.Ball of confusion, where is the loving dialogue!

  • @777bal "private interpretation" means everyone can read the Bible without a priest.

How do you read a book, magazine or newspaper without a priest looking over your shoulder, explaining how to interpret what you are reading?

  • The young guy's efforts are futile. There is no point or good outcome to what he is doing. Raising hackles and contentions is all. The division is not good. There is a better way to preach the truth of the Bible rather than be so 'in your face' as this young guy is.

  • @hiyosilver100 In Acts the apostles caused riots. Jesus preached in the temple and synagogues and he chased out the money changers. So what are you doing for the Lord?

Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. Matthew 5:15,16

  • @BereanBeacon1 Pls don't tell us,Dave, that you are endorsing causing riots. Or emulating the rage of Jesus in the temple. Many will agree that such 'in your face' confrontation only hardens ppl & turns ppl off to whatever subject is being stressed. Curious-you ask what I do for the Lord in a confrontational manner. Not that I have a need to explain-I use every opportunity to spread the Word in a civil manner-especially awareness of end time events and the importance of finding and following Jesus.

  • @BereanBeacon1 To bring the Gospel to those on the street is always going to be confrontational no matter how it is presented. I didn't ask you to be confrontational, but let others do what the Lord leads them. The Bible says when the words of the Lord go out it will accomplished what he intended.

  • Wait, so who was using vain repetitions here? The Catholics or the kid in the street?

  • @thepriesthood Who are the many? Who are few?

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Matthew 7:13-15

  • @BereanBeacon1 You are a resounding gong.

  • @thepriesthood It's vain to pray to anyone or thing other than Jesus. Jesus is the way, the truth, and light. No one comes to the Father except through Jesus. Jesus is our advocate, and high priest. So, who do you think we should pray too.?

  • @thepriesthood. vein repetitions are prayers which are idolatrous. vein means something that is not authentic. praying the rosary to Mary is vein and it is idolatrous.

  • I doubt the young man yelling at the larger group took the time to get to know even one of them and their convictions behind their prayers. I'm not catholic nor do I pray in that way but I respect all my brothers and sisters in Christ. There are just as many evangelicals with empty faith as there are in any branch of Christianity. Why can't we all love one another and work as one body for one love under one God? We can't criticize another person's journey with God - we should celebrate it!

  • @CornBandit What you wrote is vomit according to scripture.

I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.Revelation 3:15,16. You need the FREE GIFT of God by faith in Jesus Christ alone. Repent and ask the Lord to save you.

  • @BereanBeacon1 You speak biblically! Something in short supply in Satan's world today.

  • @CornBandit Think not that I [Jesus] am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

    Matthew 10:34-36

  • @BereanBeacon1 Amen friend. I am experiencing the 'family foe' thing at this very moment and have for years now. I used to be a Roman Catholic and now I am a Bible believing Christian. I'm not too popular with some of my Roman Catholic family members.

  • @johnthreesixteen316 Me either I just talked with my Dad he was talking about doing that thing in church when you go thru the walk of Christ I said why not just realy carry youre own cross like we were told. All this praying is like acting we fake some walk when we should live it.We do not do things for works that we may show our respect simply loving eachother and serving eachother is what GOD want's to see in Us.I could never of carried that cross Christ burdened but He can help me with mine.

  • @CornBandit And I [Jesus] say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him. Luke 12:4,5.

  • "Wherefore, brethren, labor the more, that by good works you may make sure your calling and election." 2 Peter 1:10

  • That's correct not by the Law But by the new covenant which will judge your works your not saved by faith alone just an invention of man . No place in the Bible does it say your saved by faith alone . In fact that phrase faith alone is found only one place in scripture where it is refuted By James. Then the righteous will answer him and say, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink (works)

  • - The abolition of the Eucharist will be the first act of the Antichrist

    - The Eucharist is the "restrainer" which withholds the coming of the Antichrist

"The Abomination of Desolation" in Matthew 24:15-20:

This is the time of the Coming of the Antichrist... and his very first work will be the abolition of the Eucharist!

  • When you see the Abomination of Desolation, of which Daniel spoke, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand)..." (Matt.24:15).

When you go to "Daniel", he describes the horrors of this "Abomination" in 4 places: Daniel 8:11-17, 9:26-27, 11:31-32, 12:11.

  • This Abomination refers to the abolition of the Eternal Sacrifice and the destruction of the Temple and Jerusalem... but Daniel states that "the vision refers to the time of the End" (8:17), and Jesus himself refers us to it in Matt.24:15, and it will be the very first thing the Antichrist will do, the abolition of the Eucharist!, as reported here by Jesus.

This "Abomination" in Daniel consists of 5 facts:

  • 1- "Abolished the perpetual sacrifice" (Dan.8:11): And as a logical consequence, if there is no "sacrifice", there will be no "altar", and no "priests" to offer it... this is the main and most important feature, described by Daniel in his four descriptions of the Abomination in the Holy Place.

  • 2- "Threw down his sanctuary" (Dan.8:11).

3- "Shall destroy the city" (Dan.9:26).

4- "He magnified himself even to the prince of the host" (Dan.8:11).

5- By his deceit he shall make some who were disloyal to the covenant apostatize (an.11:26).

  • The reign of the Antichrist will last for 7 years, as described in Daniel 8:14 and Revelation 13:5: The "Abomination" will last for 3½ years, and the "Great Tribulation" for another 3½ years, or 42 months, or 1,260 days (Rev.13:5, 11:2-3, 12:5, Dan.12:11-12).

John tells us that the Antichrist is already with us (1Jn.4:3), and Paul says that the Antichrist is already at work (1Thes.2:6-8).

  • The Jews already have this Abomination: They have no sacrifice, no altar, no priests, no temple... as it was prophesied it will happen after the coming of the Messiah! (Daniel 8:11-17, 9:26-27, 11:31-32, 12:11).

For many Protestants this "Abomination" means very little, because they already do not have the "perpetual sacrifice", nor "sanctuary", nor "altar", nor "priests"...

  • The Orthodox already do not have the "prince of hosts", nor "the city".

Many Catholics may wonder how come the Holy Mass and priests could be abolished... but this already happened partially at the coming of Muhammad when there were 800 Christian bishops in Africa, among them St. Augustine, and in a few years there were reduced to just 5!... the "remnant" always mentions by Isaiah.

  • And when Martin Luther came, in a few years millions of Christians were left without sacrifice, altar, and priests... So, this is what it will happened at the coming of the Antichrist during the Abomination of Desolation, the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be abolished, and consequently there will be no need for altars nor priests to celebrate it... and, of course, a "remnant" will be left!.

  • The "restrainer": "the one who holds back the Antichrist":

St. Paul tells us twice what withholds the Antichrist to appear, in 2Thess.2:6,7... and that "restrainer", "the one who holds back the Antichrist", is Jesus in the Eucharist!...

  • when the Sacrifice of the Holy Eucharist is abolished, the Antichrist will appear with full force!... right now, says Paul, the Antichrist, the mystery of iniquity is already at work, but restrained by the Eucharist, and his work will start in full when the Abomination of Desolation comes, when the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass and the Altar and Priests will be taken away.

  • This is how Paul say it in 2Thes.2:6-8:

6: And now you know what is holding him back (the man of lowslessness), so that he may be revealed at the proper time.

7: For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back, the restrainer,

will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way.

8: And then shall that Wicked be revealed...

  • Rom. 14:14-18; 1 Cor. 8:1-13; 1 Tim. 4:3 – Protestants often argue that drinking blood and eating certain sacrificed meats were prohibited in the New Testament, so Jesus would have never commanded us to consume His body and blood. But these verses prove them wrong, showing that Paul taught all foods, even meat offered to idols, strangled, or with blood, could be consumed by the Christian if it didn’t bother the brother’s conscience and were consumed with thanksgiving to God.

  • (1 Cor. 11:27, 29). To answer for the body and blood" of someone meant to be guilty of a crime as serious as homicide. How could eating mere bread and wine "unworthily" be so serious? Paul’s comment makes sense only if the bread and wine became the real body and blood of Christ.

  • Paul also said, "Therefore whoever eats the bread and drinks the cup of the Lord unworthily will have to answer for the body and blood of the Lord. . . . For any one who eats and drinks without discerning the body, eats and drinks judgment on himself"

  • now show me in scripture where it says not to baptize infants where not to confess your sins to a priest or person where it says not to pray thru saints seems your smashed.

  • @martlut I am still looking for your church in the book of Acts, where 8000 Jews were converted in chapters 2 and 4. If the Eucharist was present at that time, the religious leaders would have charged them with breaking Levitical laws pertaining to blood. In Acts 15, no instructions to the new Gentile converts about the sacraments. You can have your dead sacraments, but as for me and my house we have the FREE gift of God, which has been available for the last 2000 years.

  • @BereanBeacon1 I guess your type dont read the Bible Paul wrote to the Corinthians: "The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?" (1 Cor. 10:16).

  • @BereanBeacon1 your type were mentioned In Jn 666 is that number a mere coincidence I think not you have no life n you

  • @martlut. you follow a pope who is wrong, you must follow Jesus.

  • "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? Was not Abraham our father justified by works, offering up Isaac his son upon the altar? James 2:20-21.

"For even as the body without the spirit is dead; so also faith without works is dead." James 2:26

"Wherefore, brethren, labor the more, that by good works you may make sure your calling and election." 2 Peter 1:10

  • Just as Cain vainly tried to impress God with the works of his hands, so do Catholics try to impress God with their good works and ceremonialism. Catholicism is a damnable lie that has been in the world since Cain. God will smash the Catholic Whore with His judgments.

  • Through infant baptism, keeping sacraments, church membership, going to mass, praying to Mary, and confession (just to mention a few), the Catholic church has developed a system of salvation through WORKS. God's word says that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, not through works". "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Eph. 2:8-9)

  • @kiwichristian2009 gee you left this out one error for you For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God--not because of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:8-10)

  • @martlut "not of works". "a man is not justified by the works of the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus" (Gal.2:16)

  • @kiwichristian2009 , 'Amen, I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me.' And these will go off to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

    Matthew 25:33-46

  • @martlut. our good works do not save us for the simple reason that the perfect work Jesus did on the cross saves us. those who believe in His blood sacrifice are prompted by the Holy Spirit to do what is right but we are not to boast and brag about our good works putting all our faith in ourselves.

  • @martlut Yes, the DEAD in Christ were judged. Those that are saved are saved. Their works are judged to determine their rewards, not whether they will get into heaven. That has already been assured.

  • What a blustery , pretentious , aloof , insolent , audacious , bossy , caviler ,cheeky , overbearing

    Vain know it all …..

  • @martlut True colours!

  • @martlut Wow, been reading the dictionary again, have we? :)

  • @martlut. one thing I have noticed about catholics, they are very hateful, they have no confidence in scripture bcuz of all the name calling they do. they wont let Jesus give them the peace they deserve and need when spreading His Word. A realborn again saint doesnt have to get hostile or violent when spreading HIs Word bcuz they know that the Almighty will smooth things over and handle things.

  • Using the KJV, which contains 2,600 translation errors. Some foundation. Don't believe it? Just google "KJV translation errors".

24/7 counseling is available for those suffering from Romophobia

  • @martlut What errors?

  • We need to pray that the anti-Catholic bigot will be given a greater share in the true faith. He is usually filled with much anger and hate. He can only measure his own religion in reference to that which he oppose

  • @martlut All he did was quote scripture, which contradicted the RCC doctrine.

    He spoke truth.

I have studied bible accuracy and there are only minor errors in the bible which are language and syntax discrepancies.

  • @Jeanmarie63126 He spoke Lies now go do you research again I guess your smarter than the scholars ....

  • @martlut , like I said, He quoted scripture, that's all he did. If you think scripture is/are lies then I guess we don't have a basis for discussion.

  • @martlut What exactly did he say that was false teaching?

  • I would fathom to guess that were there no Catholic religion, he would have no faith at all-- or perhaps I should call it an anti-faith? He is quick to judge and to @#%$! Catholics even though there is no consideration that if he is wrong then he has blasphemed the work of the Holy Spirit

  • The anti-Catholic may also sin by presumption of God's saving grace. We live in the "sure and certain hope" of our salvation, leaving our eternal destiny to divine providence. The Lord says, "Therefore, by their fruits you will know them." While the fruits of Christ's presence and loving ministry are manifested in the life of the Church,

  • the anti-Catholic critic contends that Jesus shall respond to us with the words from Matthew 7:23, "I never knew you. Depart from me, you workers of iniquity!" Many of our Protestant brethren, with whom we would differ on points of doctrine and manners of worship, work alongside us in the promotion of the Gospel of Life. However

  • the anti-Catholic bigot contends that these groups are contaminated by their association with Catholics and thus are also lost. What can we say to such a critic? If all he understands are isolated bible texts, then let him pay heed to this one: "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. By their fruits you will know them" (Matthew 7:15-16).

  • Every Catholic needs to remember the anti-Catholic and the fallen-away Catholic every time they receive holy communion. We need to dedicate our Holy Hours to prayer on their behalf and make reparation for their insults against Jesus, his Mother, and the Church. May our prayer rise like incense to heaven and be found pleasing to Almighty God.

  • Catholics do not just repeat the same prayer over and over again when they pray the Rosary. The Rosary is a progression of many prayers--the Apostles' Creed, the Lord's Prayer, the Gloria, the Hail Mary and the Salve Regina--and these prayers are accompanied by many holy meditations.

  • As the Rosary progresses, Catholics meditate on the joyful, the sorrowful, and the glorious mysteries of the life of Christ and His Mother. True, the Hail Mary is repeated many times during the course of the Rosary, and some of the other prayers are repeated several times, but this is not ``vain'' repetition, certainly not the vain repetition condemned by Our Lord

  • The vain repetition He condemned is that of people who pray standing ``in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men.''

No prayer is vain, no matter how often repeated, if it is sincere, for Christ Himself engaged in repetitious prayer in the Garden of Gethsemani

  • (``. . . he went again: and he prayed the third time, saying the selfsame word''--Matt. 26:39, 42, 44), and we are informed in the Apocalypse (Revelations) 4:8 that the angels in Heaven never cease repeating, night and day, the canticle: ``Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty, who was, and who is, and who is to come.'' The publican humbly repeated the prayer: ``O God, be merciful to me, a sinner,''

  • @martlut. vein repetitions are idolatrous. vein means something that is useless, not authentic, fake. The angels were not praying in vein repetitions, they were praising the Almighty, and praising Him is endless, thank you Jesus.

  • and he went away justified; whereas the pharisee went home unjustified after his long-winded extemporaneous prayer. (Luke 18:9-14). God was likewise pleased with the repetitious prayer of the three young men in the fiery furnace, whom He preserved miraculously untouched by the flames. (Dan. 3:52-90). Protestants also engage in repetitious prayer: the same prayers at mealtime grace, the same prayers at Benediction, etc. The time lapse is no factor; it is still repetitious.

  • God Bless this brave evangelist abundantly, may The Lord add to his passion, and with love, continue to reach our brothers and sisters of the Roman Catholic faith with the truth of knowing God personally, through only; The one Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ!

  • Acts 19:33 And they drew Alexander out of the multitude, the Jews putting him forward. And Alexander beckoned with the hand, and would have made his defence unto the people.

Acts 19:34 But when they knew that he was a Jew, all with one voice about the space of two hours cried out, Great is Diana of the Ephesians.

Modern Catholics are worshipping the exact same "Queen of Heaven" goddess that the ancient pagans worshipped. Her name back then was "Diana", today she is called "Mary"!

  • @husky394xp. catholics have adopted so much paganism that they cant tell the difference anymore between lies and truth.

  • ... this all very problematic ... how well does the young evangeliser know his bible ? ... this is almost a set-up !

  • God bless the young street preachers who love these Catholics enough to warn them.

Woe to the lying priest who is leading those poor people straight to an eternity in Hell!!

  • @husky394xp : Hi guys. As a former grave digger, had the opportunity to watch mourners and priests. The above monk is one very obviously a naughty man !

  • God bless that young man- several centuries ago those same Catholics would have burned him for that. We must never forget our borthers and sisters who were murdered for speaking the Truth in the face of the heretical evil of catholicism. Today there is far too much will to join together to be indifferent to doctrine and to enter in with the whore of Babylon. Mary will not save them

  • God bless you BereanBeacon!

  • It's a very sad situation ! But the best thing to do with them is pray and take their bible and show them the verses in their bible! ! They are very ignorent of the bible they don't know it at all and when you show them verses like we are not to pray to Mary they start to realize something is wrong but they usally go into denial ! because they are held captive by religion! And many other that call themself christians and live in sin live also in denial still in sin! Jesus bless you!

  • @jesusiloveyou2 Well, catholics are brainwashed by the catholic organisation. Satan is very good at what he does through his counterfeit Christian cult. It is not the catholics' fault. I am sure many of them love God very much, but the antichrist popes have had them in bondage and enslavement for centuries.

  • As I watched this video, I wept....touched by the passion in this young man's heart to boldly speak truth to these Catholics, so they would hear Biblical truth, broken for these Catholics who are hearing the truth, & yet many of them sadly refuse to have ears to hear. I also wept because I once was Catholic, & no one ever shared what the Bible said about the true meaning of Biblical grace. God's Word NEVER returns void. (Isaiah 55:11) May He use His Word to accomplish His will in their hearts.

  • @LivingForHisGlory. another sad thing about these catholics is that the more the young man told them they were committing idolatry, the louder those same catholics got. on judgement day those same catholics will be shocked and surprised when Jesus tells them that they had committed idolatry, then they will turn on Jesus and curse Him, cursing the same Savior they sacrificed on their altars(transubstantiation) such hypocrisy. their doctrines are false & hellish.

  • This is actually making me cry!!! They're so brainwashed!!!! I have so many family members that are brainwashed by the Roman catholic church & it just kills me to see so many that are willingly deaf to the gospel.

I pray so much for these people. All of the people like this.

  • @SoloJESUSsalva1 it is very sad to see, indeed. We must never be silent or scared to speak the truth bluntly. That the roman catholic cult is unbiblical and antichristian, and despite what they say, there IS salvation outside of it.

  • A couple of them were listening!!! Hallelujah!!!

  • Pray for these poor deceived Catholics!

  • those catholics are very likely demon possessed..give them the verse and move on if they do not repent. when it turns into a shouting match you should walk way. i just continue to tell them to repent as i leave. continued blessings..thanks for your boldness.

  • God bless the young man and his boldness for the Lord Jesus Christ!

  • It was dead boring and theres no life in it and they have a form of godliness but deny its power!

  • If I diddn't know the Language it sounded like a chant for wichcraft.

  • @korzon Thinking the same thing.

  • @korzon Historically speaking, that's pretty much what it is.

  • @SoloJESUSsalva1 There still busy asking for forgiveness when it's been paid thats sad. They should put all that effort in witnessing. We are supposed to be selling something not buying it.

  • @korzon. i agree, actually when anyone tries to contact those who have passed on are committing witchcraft and whenever there is a response from beyond it is from satan not from those who have passed on.

  • Let it be known.... wisdom crieth in the streets...but they will clos their ears to the truth....the message of Christ is the banner every Christian must fight under...onward, Christian, onward....

  • The priest looked like a wizard and the people looked like they were under a spell. Very sad. I salute the young man for his courage and love of Christ. A very bold witness.

  • @Roberthurz This is what GOD means we will know them by their fruits.GOD doesnt want repetition he wants obedience. If we have been forgiven why all this chanting we are supposed to be wittnessing not chanting.
