Are you sure there's not any lienage to any of the Beatles members in your family? I wish you would add the Beatles songs you have done to a future CD. While your personally written songs are incredible, I think listeners will realize the gift you have on the HD. What a great way to spend my lunch today! It's nice to hear your family in the background!
Love this one Ted! I have started painting Acrylics again and will be making some vids on that. Your sound fits so well, may have to beg your indulgence again :-) For those confused, Ted let me use his music in a painting video.
Okay, so my friend told me that I'm playing a wrong note in the part..."She once had me." or "Norwegian Wood". For those of you who care, I played an F# when I should have played an A. I was a third below what they actually sang. I'll fix it when I record it. :) That's what friends are for.
I really like this one - and is it my imagination or are those hammers larger than usual?
Oh, and a message to whoever hit the 'dislike' button - you have a right to your opinion but I think it would be really helpful if you could leave a comment to say why you didn't like it - if there is room for improvement in your opinion then I am sure that Ted would appreciate the feedback!
@JustJat1 Yes, Janet, those are a little larger than your Ed Hale hammers. If I'm not mistaken he makes 3 sizes. Large round, small round and an oval shape, at least I think that's what they call it. Did anyone ever tell you that you're too observant? :) You will make a great hammered dulcimer player.
@tedlavonyoder LOL I'm beginning to find out that your favourite hammers change depending on the situation - my Ed Hale hammers are by far my favourites for the D45 - really responsive - but they are too bouncy for the mini dulcimer with its really tight strings - the Jill Weimers are much better on that one - and outside the Ed Hales just blow away - I need something heavier. I love the appearance of the single Dusty String ones but they are stiff and the balance isn't as good as the Ed Hales
@tedlavonyoder mind you, the Dusty strings ones are great for scratching your ears (as demonstrated by Rich Mullins) - could go part of the way to explaining why he remained single ;-)

@wistad This one is so fun to play. This one reminds me of Here Comes the Sun but a little more rockin'.
